Thanks a lot for the article,

Really appreciate the big effort that went into it.

A great and imformative read. Cudos on the details for all the units. Most comments agreed!

BUT, I'm not really satisfied with the army lists. They are a little colorless, and they have the abstract look of ideas rather than real lists that have been used in real battles! I don't think they are completely realistic or competitive.

For example what use are three rokkits in walking squads that won't be able to use them once they get into CC??? Isn't it more sensible to take those points out and put them on a twin linked rokkit on a buggy somewhere else, probably coming in from reserve. Boys can walk 6" but buggies can scoot 18" and move the rokkits to where they are needed.

That suggests to me you haven't actually built and played these armies.

Likewise taking battlewagons as tanks with killkannons? That is a lot of points for mediocre shooting! Three of them? Well maybe it is an idea about mobile terrain to hide the rest of the army, but it is a lot of points for tanks that have poor rear army and short range so move to where they can be flanked and killed by serious players! I don't think this idea would survive too many actual battles!

If you are going to do a horde over 1750, I think a real list would be looking seriously at Ghazkull in a trukk with some nobs and a painboss! Two turns with a 2+ invulnerable save for him and two turns of Waaargh are a vast enhancement for the horde power! Nobs have low morale which is why you have them and their feel no pain enhancer WITH the warboss and HIS morale! They are mutually supportive and you get a couple more hidden power Klaws in there! This is the answer to Landraiders! Don't need Battlewagons to hide trukks. Start in reserve! Use speed cunning and your wits to hit the enemy somewhere painful!

Any chance of revised lists?

the killkannons seem odd for a kult of speed list. If you use them then you can only move 6" or 7". It also denies you your big advantage of being able to get a squad of 20 boys into combat relatively intact. I think a vehicle with a boarding plank will get more use than a killkannon. My limited experience with single deffkoptas is that they aren't really effective for anything but annoyance. Even twin-linked rokkits are still affected by orkish BS. At least be more sure of your shots by using a couple. Apart from that good luck and I enjoy the way you have set out your tactica.

cry havoc and let slip the poodles of war.

Sweeet. I am not personally interested in even looking at this again until if and when the new edition comes out.

And TL Rokkits are a great weapon . Admittedly one Deffkopta is not a whole lot of shooting, and it does give up kill points but it has the advantage of being able to take cover and can still contest objectives.

Killkannon is a great weapon too, for that matter. I mean it is AP3 Ordnance even if it is only S7. And it can get the 4+ cover from the KFF. Besides the fact that Looted Russ or Bassie is a traditional inclusion in Ork armies.

Looks solid, though it might be worth getting DashOfPepper to add to the Boarding Plank section with an account of how he uses his (successfully, apparently).

Minor point re: Flash Gitz is that Badrukk comes with 3 free ammo runts, which can of course be used to get rid of Gets Hot! results, so he's not quite so horribly dangerous to himself as he 1st appears.

I'd rate Kommandoz as competitive, or competitive to semi-competitive.
The outflanking ability is not mentioned in the description.
