You know your into warhammer a little too far when you start to have dreams about being one of da boyz.

i have actually had this dream.... and i no that im totally mental for it, but here goes anyway.

essentially, i had a dream about being a meganob in Ghazgkull's huge WAAAAAGH! on Armageddon.

it was pretty weird waking up and wanting to scream WAAAAAGH!!! but then realizing that its 6am and you will have some VERRRY angry parents.

im posting this to ask the people here if anyone of you have had a similar dream (tho not necessarily as an ork, maybe as a marine or a guardsman or whatever). just to make me feel better about myself. also if people have any more interesting "you know your into warhammer a little too far when..." things to add to mine.

Usually when I have wierd dreams like that, it's after playing too many video games...or more specificaly, playing one game too much.

Not Warhammer, but I did once have a dream where I was in a city under attack by orcs that looked like tan or bright green 'o's and I was fighting them by using the letters "pcb" and pointing over and over again. That was before I learned to use macros, of course.

I had a dream similar to Raxmei's, but the orcs looked like orcs. I actually think that they were more like LotR orcs, but I think there were grots to.

I dreamt I was in the imperial guard after reading a large chunk of a gaunt's ghosts novel just before bed. I cant remember the details beyond it being trench warfare, but can clearly remember the mocking from my wife as I told her about it the next day.

edit: actually maybe I should start reading about slaanesh before bed

Funny to see this. I don't have dreams, but I go to bed thinking about it, wake up thinking about it, and pretty much spend my whole day thinking about it. I really look forward to those few hours at night, when I can sit down and paint or model...or just make different army lists. Lately, I have been obsessed by Flash Gitz!

I think what makes it a bit odd is I paid extra money to get the CE of WAR for the Model more than anything else. I have barely even played the headstart...I would rather paint.

This is going to sound silly, but I had a dream about a sale in GW once. I was so dissapointed when I woke up!
I've also dreamed of playing games, and once I dreamed I was still running the tournament I had been running before going to sleep.

Tho I wish I had dreamed I was a character. That would be sweet.

When the nids first came out for 4th ed, I dreamed I BOUGHT a carnifex. I didn't get it for free, I didn't somehow happen upon it; there was nothing remarkable surrounding my acquisition as per most dreams, nothing - I was fantasizing about SPENDING MONEY on a fifty dollar hunk of plastic. I suck.
