So I suspect the amount of traffic from the UKGD overwhelmed the server, no ETA on repair yet.

why could they not just limit the connections limit on gamesday, at least it woudlent of gone tits up.

Could the server have been in Texas?

We were worried that the dakka server could have been in Texas when Ike was bearing down.
