Hey all

I was just wondering if anyone has ordered from forge world lately, what it is and how long it took? There was a thread like this going on Warseer but I think its gone and I'd like to know if things have cooled down over at FW. I figured its good to order in the next month or so before the holiday season hits, as well as the next apoc book that I believe comes out soon.

Well I put an order in yesterday for IA6, some Death Guard Conversion kits, loads of Dreadnought arms and three Chaos Dreads (two Deathguard, one World Eater). The only item out of those that isn't out yet is IA6, but that comes out on Monday, so no pre-order waiting problems there.

However, last time I ordered something a month in advance of an event that I needed the items for, asked for express shipping, and got it several weeks after the event, so I have little faith in their abilities.

Honestly, I'll be happy if I get it before November...

Hit or miss is the best I can tell ya.

Depending on your phone service, you may find it worthwhile to call the UK and confirm their inventory. If it's in stock, you'll get it within 7-10 days (earlier for some). If it's out of stock, don't bother ordering because the guy on the other end of the connection has NO CLUE when it will be back in stock, but will gladly tell you "it should be ready next week".... heard that too many times myself.

Regardless, the only way to get any answers, once they've got your $$, is to call them. Their e-mails about orders have been carbon copies since APOC hit. They don't tell you anything about your order and do tell you to phone them, which can be a huge hassle.

Regardless of what you hear, be prepared to wait.
