Have you guys seen the advance orders on the GW site for the new christmas releases? The back pack and luggage look pretty cool. I think I will buy the whole set.

Yeah but I am sure you can fit other cases in them. I just think it will be convenient for taking my armies to friends houses for games.

I kinda like the GW luggage. Sadly, I hate the GW cases. I am a loyal Sabol buyer but I wish they did a luggage case like GW has just done.

Yeah, that'd be what I did. High Sierra makes a great roller duffel, hard bottom. Fits 2 GW cases perfectly in the bottom, leaves plenty of room in the top for clothes. Truth be told, though, if you are going on the airlines and want to go carry on, try the bag that came with Apoc., that tan one? fits a GW case (duh), laptop, a few codexs and p/s for the puter, still fits under the seat in front of you. Just. Tried it just a few hours ago flying from SC to TX. Worked like a champ.

Not a fan of the Sabol cases myself. I'm rather fond of the GW cases. May have to consider these new luggage cases.

Between Sabol and GW cases, it really depends on the use. Anyone checking a sabol gets what they deserve. The one thing I am not in favor of in the sabol design is that it takes more of the smaller trays to house larger models. And with the standard size minis, even then you don't get the density. You end up needing a larger case to house the same number of figs in foam trays that are individually more expensive, unless you count the price beak effect from the deep trays. However, the tradeoff to that is of course the customizing option. Really, to my mind, sabol and GW cases are really apples and oranges. They both have their uses, which don't overlap all the time.

I have a Sabol case, I have 2 small GW cases and 1 large GW case. I LOVE the large GW Case for one reason, shoulder strap. The Sabol motor pool doesn't have one. The small GW cases don't have em. I've got my eye on the heavy support case as it'll carry the large GW case and both of my smalls on my back, freeing my hands up for whatever else.

The fast attack bag is just awesome, I think.
I'll likely get it and totally streamline my travel kit for mini workin's. Right now I've got a mega paint-case and a tackle box, plus a chessex case of 'current projects'. This could do the job of all 3. But I'd really like to know what that foam compartment is like. I assume egg-shell foam on both sides, but you never know.
Also, I think the tactical is cool, functionality-wise, with the rhino-like top hatch extender. It doesn't strike me as particularly ecconomical though.

Ive been thinking of dropping the reaper cases myself. They are getting old and I think I want to switch to a hard case. I met this one dude at the Vegas GT that custom cuts his own mini holders. he can even engrave his own name into them.
