I'm playing around with possible builds for 1750. I’m trying to use a lot of models I already have and whose paintjobs I like, but adapt a bit more to 5th ed.
Part of the idea of this list is to use the Chosen's option to Outflank, so as to make the short table edges dangerous places to be for my opponent. To make it very hard for him to hide anything over there, and generally push him into deploying more bunched up in the center, where I can focus my template firepower and/or my assault stuff. Also, I've crammed in more flamers and meltaguns, which seem really essential with the current cover save rules.
HQ
Daemon Prince (110) with Wings (20), Mark of Slaanesh (5), Lash of Submission (20) = 155
Sorcerer (100) with Flight (20), Mark of Slaanesh (5,) Lash of Submission (20), Personal Icon (5) = 150
Greater Daemon = 100
Elite
3 Terminators (90), 1 w/Chainfist (15) & Heavy Flamer (5), 2 w/Power weapon & Combi-Plasma (10) = 120
5 Chosen CSM (90), 2 Meltaguns (20), 2 Flamers (10), Aspiring Champion (10) = 125
In Rhino (with Smoke and Searchlight) = 35
5 Chosen CSM (90), 2 Meltaguns (20), 2 Flamers (10), Aspiring Champion (10) = 125
Troops
10 Chaos Space Marines (150), with Icon of Chaos Glory (10), 2 Flamers (10), including Aspiring Champion (15) with Power Fist (25) = 210
In Rhino (with Smoke and Searchlight) = 35
5 Chaos Space Marines (75) with Icon of Chaos Glory (10), Meltagun (10), Aspiring Champion (15) = 110
In Rhino (with Smoke and Searchlight) = 35
5 Chaos Space Marines (75) with Icon of Chaos Glory (10), Plasmagun (15) = 100
In Rhino (with Smoke and Searchlight) = 35
8 Lesser Daemons = 104
Heavy Support
2 Obliterators = 150
2 Obliterators = 150
Total: 1749
One thing I’m missing from my old list is my 4 ML havoc squad, which has been doing absolutely outstanding damage to ork hordes in concert with Lash. I could get that back if I cut the greater daemon and one of the chosen units.
Alternately, if I cut the Chosen unit in the Rhino, I could just add a third unit of Oblits. That feels like selling though. It’s just so cookie-cutter.
Yet another option would be to swap the walking Chosen unit for a Vindicator. That would give me a nice big pie-plate to use in conjunction with Lash. But I'd only have the one Outflanking unit.
Any thoughts?

I like it. Now, I see by the little record stat you listed that you play in larger games than I...but, one comment. Chosen? Not a big fan anymore. I think the points might be better spent with the Vin, more Termie's with some combi-weaps, more oblits, or a LR. Just me. Other than that, it's very similar to what I run, and mine does fairly well in smaller games with a few buddies.
On a side note, I'd love to see the paint you have on these guys. I'm always looking to stea....err...borrow...ideas from other Chaos players about paint schemes. For me, right now, that's where I'm stuck. I don't want to start laying paint without a major theme....and my brain won't process it.

I have more termies. Actually I've been using two squads of terminators. But what I'm really trying to do is make more use of the new tactical options we have in 5th. Infiltrating with Chosen seems less than optimal. But having them walk or drive onto the table from the short edge, potentially immediately assaulting/shooting/killing something of my opponent's, is an attractive thought. And even if my opponent deploys away from the edges, this cuts down on his deployment options, which should be tactically advantageous.

Pick a couple of colors you like and which go well together. My army is a themed Fallen Angels force. I originally started it as a Dark Angels army, then expanded it with chaos models so I can play it either way.

You can. GW used to have a policy against it, but that clause has been removed. Posting whole codices or large portions thereof is still forbidden.
