12 warbikers, nob w/pk and bp
12 warbikers, nob w/pk and bp
12 warbikers, nob w/pk and bp
7 warbikers, nob w/pk

total: 1750 pts.

The army and wazdakka conversion requires 19 warbiker boxes. Each box is $35 (plus tax). At 2 boxes a month I'll be good to go in ten months.

The ultimate achievement for this army would be to have all bikes strung out on the very edge of the table driving in a huge circle.

I'm going for this, somewhat. You might do well to find points/models to field a Nob Biker squad, even if it won't be a Troops choice due to the lack of a 'Boss.

As a rule of thumb, the designers do not hide "easter eggs" in the rules. If clever reading is required to unlock some sort of hidden option, then it is most likely the result of wishful thinking.

But there's no sense crying over every mistake;
You just keep on trying till you run out of cake.

As long as I would have enough bikes so that, end to end, I could completely encircle the table.

Olympia, you sir, are a visionary.

If you ever have that army, and are in Washington state, then I want to buy you a beer and battle your army.

i also share your vision of a horde of bikers with wazdakka roaring towards the enemy lines. should be an apoc formation!

I saw this army list a few days ago and thought - YES! I like how you've planned out buying it as well Olympia, very nice there. Nobs Bikers for sure, with a painboy for awesome resilience. Maybe 2 Klaws and the rest Big Choppa's it will give you a much better chance of dealing with 'Nidzilla-esque forces and higher armour forces also. I'd consider taking a Warboss on Bike also, because then the Nobs would be a Troops unit and could score and you'd have another powerful character floating about better able to deal with high armour and high toughness creatures (str 10 Klaws FTW!). Otherwise, encircling the whole board in bikes, Oh Yeah! Visionary indeed, just like Wazzdakka - I think you've chosen an army suiting you nicely.

It should so be an apoc formation, in-line with his background as well so as they just appear from a warp gate soomewhere and can move and attack as normal that turn then disappear somewhere else again then reappear et al, haha, Highway To Da Starz!

Wazdakka should just figure out how to build a giant shokk attack gun and fire himself and his boyz across the galazy wearing blindfolds or sumthin so they dont get wierded out by all the deamons in the warp.

I recommend using all Forge World Nob Biker models instead, even for the boyz. Normal biker models just aren't good enough.

Total cost: $5,720.00 US.

Adrift within the vortex of my imagination.

You could add in buggies and skorchas and deffkoptas without spoiling your theme. Skorchas and deffkoptas in particular, both are IMHO needed in this list.

n'oublie jamais - It appears I now have to highlight this again.

Three Months on, Olympia and several hours trawling through the forum threads pages after pages to about page 23 or 25 or there abouts and I found the list and thread!

How has it come along since this list was first cracked?

My own Fabius Bile force has developed to a list, and the entirety of it brought barring a Rhino and 3 defilers, and NONE built as of yet - looking foro a jewellers saw so I can finish sawing Fabius Bile in half for a conversion I am working on for him. Oh and the army has a name: Fabius Bile's Fabulous Smile Brigade, lol.

Auretious Taak.

P.S. Yes I came back after 2 months or so not really looking here due to time and went looking for the threads that had me intrigued and wanted to see happen!

P.P.S. I just got a message saying i could lose the respect of fellow posters if I post this as the thread is over 3 months old, that's actually quite nice to see as a counter to Thread-o-mancy, and I tend to shy away from it myself but do want to know how the army has come along so apologies if it offends anyone. An army whose bikes are strung out on the very edge of the table driving in a huge circle is one I WANT to see.

I've let you all down. I would like to apologize to my family, my constituents, and the people of the world. Rather than buying warbikers I used my available resources to acquire nine killa kans and a deff dredd for a footslogging creeping army of doom.

I actually have an army of pure warbikes.

2 unit of 10 nob bikes (including painboy conversion with black reach deftcoppa, )
1 warboss (conversion with black reach deftcoppa)
1 Wazdakka (same conversion)
2 unit of 12 warbikes with nob with powerklaw
5 deftcoppa
Total: 46 bikes and 5 deftcoppas for 2500 points.

Total boxes bought: 14 box of warbikes, 2 blister of painboy and 3 box of black reach.

YOU LIED!

Deffcopta's don't count as Bike's.

Olympia, it's not a problem, are you still going to eventually get the entire circle of Bikes army at some point?

What's the Foot slogging list consist of? Don't mind me stirring the list/thread along another path, I've actually had a re-invigorated sense to do the Chaos Tau Battlesuit list I had made up regardless of the fact I have most of a 1500pt chaos marine army in parts ready to be built. Let us know what the new list is and any games et al, a crap tonne of Kans and a Dread or Two is damned fine and I'm curious to know what it is.

Cheers mate,

Auretious Taak.

P.S. My Brother is actually in the process of converting up a largely ork Nob Biker army at the moment also using BFBR deffcopta's as easy conversions for the Nob's so yeah, also interested from his side also.

I'm digging the idea, it wasn't hard with a few platoons of iguard to have them encircle the table. It was pretty nerd-tastic, actually
