Subject: Shieldbearers Vs Killing Blow?

I was reading through the Dwarf army book and had an interesting thought-
A Dwarf lord with shieldbearers counts as a single model with a unit strength of 3.
Killing Blow only works on a model with a unit strength of 2 or less.
This would mean that a Dwarf Lord with Shieldbearers would be immune to killing blow. Am I reading this right, or was this FAQ'd?

You are reading it correctly. Skarsnik is also immune.

He's got a mind like a steel trap. By which I mean it can only hold one idea at a time;
it latches on to the first idea to come along, good or bad; and it takes strenuous effort with a crowbar to make it let go.

Isn't Skarsnik a Goblin?

Skarsnik is a special character. He comes on a base with Gobbla the Squig. Together, if I recall correctly, they are a unit strength 6 model. It is one of the amusing quirks of the O&G army that the only character that's immune to KB is a weedy little goblin.

The other thing you have to remeber about killing blow is that it cannot kill a unit strength 3 model but a killing blow wound still causes 1 wound with no armour or regeneration save. So the wound will still count.

I think gobbla and skarsnik are bitchin models. My friend actually has a really old version of the model, back from the hero hammer days.

Is that the version where Skarsnik has a zipper on his back so Gobbla could take things out of him?
