[i]WHICH WARHAMMER 40K RACE DO YOU THINK IS THE BEST AND WHO WILL RULE DA UNIVARSE.?

I have at my command an entire battle group of the Imperial Guard. Fifty regiments, including specialised drop troops, stealthers, mechanised formations, armoured companies, combat engineers and mobile artillery. Over half a million fighting men and thirty thousand tanks and artillery pieces are mine to command. Emperor show mercy to the fool that stands against me, for I shall not.

I think Humanity is "da best" and should rule "da univarse".
Would it not be a better description => " rule da galaxy"

From the grammar: da best/ da univarse = why orks?

I say the Tyranids will sweep through killing off everything then, outta the blue, the Tau push them out and win the now lifeless galaxy.

Tau?! Seriously? It's gotta be Necrons, or 'Nids. The question is, will the 'Nids have enough bio-matter to eradicate a race that does not give them fuel as a reward for victory.

wait wait wait wait... huh..?

I think that eventually, the Imperium will get its $h!t together and start chewing bubble gum, and taking names (its two different quotes that... nvm).

For example... Leman Russ comes back.

There, game over, Imperium actually unites. They start advancing in technology again because Russ says "Listen, I want bigger guns or else I'm a gonna piss on your laptop".

Russ realizes that the Tau need to go... BOOM exterminatus. This continues until the Imperium becomes imperious to tryanid assaults, Necrids start getting hit up by new imperial weapons of you shall not come back from the grave you overoxidised zombie mutha #$)$*ers. The eldar realize that the Imperium has stopped being a dipstick and fades away from the fighting, regenerating their depleted populations.

The orks stay... their weeds... not even a primarch could carry enough weedwhacker to knock off those plants.

It's been shown that Nids can be corrupted by chaos, so not them. It would only take a wacky nord queen or two to distabilise the whole hive. Same goes for Tau.

Maybe Necrons, if you-know-who on mars wakes up... but if not, they don't look like they can make new tomb worlds, so... Yeah, they defeated the old ones, but the old ones never had a proper space fleet (nobody to fight against).

Orks will always be around, but everybody else is only in trouble if the brain boys come back.

So...

erm...

KROOT.

They'll eat chaos marines, hrud, zoats and squats, and become awesome.

Good Question.

Chaos Deamons - They to chaotic to conquer all.
Chaos Space Marines - There are to few of them.
Dark Eldar - Like eldar, they are dying race.
Eldar - The same as Dark Eldar.
The Imperium - Humies... they are many, they are brave and easy adapt to any situation. But still they are to weak.
Necrons - They are dangerous, they are some kind of immortal but to few and weak.
Orks - Green Mean Fighting Machine! They are strong, they adapt to anything. They are more cunning than some may thing. And they are strong in numbers.
Tau Empire - Maybe they are noble, have tanks guns and all that stuff, but they are weak.
Tyranids - Second to win. They are numerous and vicious. But still they are vunerable becouse they brood like society.

So win Da Orkz!
We da 'ardest! We da most green and green mean best.

I see it going one of two ways: Orks, or 'Nids. One will outproduce the other, and push them out of the galaxy.

Granted, chaos will never go away, because it can't, and both orks and nids are susceptible, so who knows.

Imperium of Man=hooped. The way they're evolving, even if they fend off all the other races, the number of psykers is growing. More psykers=more daemon incursions=more 'Eye of Terror' situations, ultimately game over. Besides, all it takes is for one careless Tech-Priest to trip over the Emperor's life support power cord, and the Imperium's navigational abilities disappear. Isolation means night night Imperium

My vote goes Tyranids, as they're proven adapters, and learn, change and grow. Orks don't change 'nuffin, cuz they only care about da fightin'!

I'm tempted to agree with defenstrator, the numbers are probably the key. Although, I think the Orks combined numbers could eliminate all threats, including nids if not for their desire for blood. If they ever feel truly threatened, I think they'd compile an almighty WAAAGH and overcome the threat.. Although, if they ever did this and ruled the galaxy, the fighting amongst themselves driven by their natural bloodthirst would be their downfall.

Therefore, I say Orks for a very short period, but then they'd go away. For a long time. Also, any other threat could never really eliminate orks, because of their nature of reproduction. Like on Armageddon, should the main threat ever be taken down, Ferals will always be a constant threat. Of course, thats probably just because I don't know much about the other races... I'm a close minded git, as they would say...

Scyzantine Empire

Their numbers are legion, their name death...

I call Necrons since they can increase their numbers, Pariahs being the case in point, improve upon the C'Tan's original plans (again Pariahs), and have already infiltrated the Imperium.

I agree that nids and orks will be a force to be reckoned with. However, if the necron-influenced imperium or even eldar find a way to direct the nids at the orks or vice-versa, they'd eventually exterminate one another. Although, I imagine the nids cleaning a world free of orks and taking the ork-spores with them using air cleaners.

Besides, if the nids tore across the galaxy, eating up everything in sight, then moving on their merry, the necrons wouldn't mind in the least. The C'Tan desire nothing less than the extermination of all life since living beings cause ripples in the warp and the powers of the warp are the very weapons used against them at the dawn of their power.

What harm can it do to find out? It's a question that left bruises down the centuries, even more than "It can't hurt if I only take one" and "It's all right if you only do it standing up." Terry Pratchett, Making Money

Chaos - Not motivated by domination. Will always be a pest to whoever does succeed though.
Dark Eldar - Dieing race as bakemono said.
Eldar - As above
Necrons - cant use the warp, fail
Orks - The idea of them ruling even a planet is flawed. They are motivated by war not domination. Even if they did conquer the galaxy it wouldn't last five seconds before it broke to pieces. "i aint takin ordaz from you blablabla"
Tau Empire - Insignificant
Tyranids - Xenology has a segment where a researcher describes a way to overcome the nids, which the imperium could achieve.

the imperium will fall apart, but mankind will rise again.

I'm thinking the Tau have a good chance of wiping out some of the races, or at least becoming the new Imperium.

The Tau are like the Imperium was in its early days, and the Imperium now is sure to crumble soon.

I mean, if the Tau keep expanding and advancing in technology, it won't matter that they suck in CC. They'll have auxillaries from everywhere to fight close quarters for them. Granted, they'll probably pull an Ancient Rome and get owned later on, but I think they could pretty much take the galaxy for a while.

The assimilation of Orks and Tyranids has already begun. (See the Tyranids Codex) Whatever finally arises from that crucible of battle will be strong enough to conquer the universe.

What makes you think Mankind will rise again? I would see them as being the least likely to do so. They'll go the way of the Eldar, eventually, imo. But, I don't really know...

I dunno just a hunch. I just find it wierd how the eldar, orks, necorns etc. were all created while the human race was born, as if it's the galaxies chosen ruler.

if you take into account the recent rulebooks fluff the imperium is at breaking point as the light of the astronomicon is failing and they are being besieged on all sides of the galaxy and with the recent 13th Black Crusade the imperiums fighting strength is at its limit, however knowing workshop humanity won't go down kicking and screaming, i think tau are the ones who will eventually rule, they overcome everything with there tech they have encountered so far, so prehaps they could even control the tyranids just like the Vespid prehaps......hmmm maybe going off on to much of a tangent but Tau ftw!

When you give total control to a computer, it’s only a matter of time before it pulls a Skynet on you and you’re running for your life.
