Created yesterday for the guy taking my place at the Ard Boyz.

This does break my cardinal rule of don't mix foot and mech. At 2500 points with Sisters, you can.

Oops, tactics.

The two meltagun sisters squads drive out in the inquisitors land raiders, backed by the rhino flamer spam squads.

Retinues and Exorcists provide fire support.

The large Sister squad sits in front of the retinues (for cover) and covers the rear objective.

2 armies for the price of 1. Seems like it's nasty, I hope his generalship doesn't let him down.

Wow! This list is amazing. So perfect I might just steal this idea. You have a fire base and a mobile fire base. Pretty much tactically perfect.

You always put out very competative lists. I really wish you could attend the semi's because i was hoping to play you in the finals. I look for competative games and I dont care if I loose. And you are pretty much the ultimate competator out there.

Looks really good, though I don't think I understand the Inquisitor with Chirugeons, Penitent and shotgun... Mainly the Chirugeons. Are you intending to allocate wounds to the Inq and have it take saves, then remove those it fails?

Side note, awww, no plasma cannon servitors?

The penitent is for fluff, and there were points leftover. A bolter or a crappy familiar? I prefer the penitent, and the inquisitor almost always dies first anyway. The chirugeon is there so you can eat a lascannon blast to the face, fail a cover save, and ignore it.

Tends to make las snipers go away and pick on something else. Once they start shooting Mystics in the other retinues, well...odds are they don't have a DS army, so they can snipe all day. Odds are the mystics will suck it up, and they'll find better uses for their lascannons.

No plasma cannon servitors, sorry. Overheat and die? Nah. They aren't needed really. Nice, but not needed. If I could run a missile launcher guy, I would for whatever that's worth.

So are you working with model limitations? I would think that a mostly pure rhino/immolator/exorcist spam list with an obligatory dh inquis would do more damage.

I took something close to this in the regionals and will probably take it again to the semi's.

Immolators only go so far, and his resources are indeed 'limited'. That said...

Having a mixed force when running Sisters, that has both long range anti-tank and anti-infantry firepower, lots of bodies, lots of light/medium/heavy vehicles...

It's a nightmare to play against tactically.

Usually I run 2 sages with the plasma man, so when he cooks himself I can just reroll. In all honesty though, it is mainly to get some plasma and a blast marker into the army. I always was jealous of those.

I will be really interested in seeing how far that list goes, as it looks like a lot of fun. It is a little wierd to not see a Cannoness with jump pack and melta pistol though...

Not if you park it in cover somewhere out of the way, or in a vehicle of some manner.

Out of three ard boyz games and about 4 test games he's never been shot at. He always hangs around my board edge behind the rhino/immolator wall. Usually by the time people can see him they are too worried about all the sisters that have dismounted. When I actually need the hood he will hide behind the exorcists for the whole game. He's died once just because I assaulted some bikes to keep them tied up for a turn or two.

Also stat increases (like form the hierophants) permanently boost the stateline. Even if they die during the game you get to keep the leadership bonus.

this list is basically what I ran at Ard boyz round one. I didn't use the HQs for LRs though and all of my sisters were Mech.

I used Elites for the LRs and ran a cannoness and the saint for HQs. only 5 troop choices.

It did fairly well. I don't think you shoud run 15 sisters on foot tho just to hold an objective. you'd be better off giving them a rhino and sitting in the rhino on the objective. Makes them harder to kill off. I like faith... stelek doesn't :p
