The tournament is actually being run by Allen Blount, a former GW guy, and my site is trying to organize it all. Poorly I might add, but it's something.

So yeah, anyone who wants to play, just sign up by the 11th and you should be good to go!

I would come, and play (cause Guardtower is my fave LGS).. but I work tues - sat.. and am alone on saturdays.. so I cannot get off work.

I WILL stop by to meet other Dakka-ites.. maybe bring along an army for a pick up game if anyone might be up to it at 5pm..

the fact that it is my spouse and I's anniversary of dating factors not at all in this.. lol

I do have a legitimate medical excuse...I've been in the hospital for 14 of the last 18 days...I don't think my wife will be happy with me going to a tourney

But we are running another tourney in Columbus 2 weeks later...CAGO-Ween...so I hope people attend that one ALSO!

I've only been there a couple times since I'm maybe 30 minutes away, but the Guard Tower seems like a pretty okay place. How often do they do the megabattles? And most importantly, do they still have that cool cat that hangs around?
