wait wait wait wait... huh..?

Alright, here's my attempt at a shooty army of death.

HQ
Master of The codex (Sicarius)

Troops

Tac squad
10 Marinez (hurr) Missile Launcher, Flamer, Sergeant with PF. (infiltrates as per Sicarius's rule)

Scout squad
9 snipers 1 missile launcher. (I know people think I should take the heavy bolter for the bang bang wound on a 2+ death, but The ML is for anti vehicle, and bikers and stuff.)

Scout Squad
Same as Above.

Tac Squad
10 marines ML, flamer, Sergeant with PF, drop pod locator beacon,

Heavy support

Thunder fire cannon, Drop pod locator beacon

Thunderfire cannon, Drop Pod locator beacon

All this adds up to 1250 points. But at this point, I get stuck. I realize that I need some more AT stuff, but I have no idea what to do with the last 500 points. The plan is to get at least 1 more DP unit so that the thunderfires automatically come in on the first turn. Also, it would be best if it went with the rest of the extra special that I've got going. The strategy is to have guys infiltrate onto objectives, then have the Thunderfires land with them, and the last Tac squad coming in as well. The Thunderfires try to kill stuff, and so do the other squads. Really nasty CC squads are slown down by the subterranean blasts, while the week ones are torn apart by whatever is left.

I was thinking 2 venerable dreadnoughts.

In a configuration kinda like this

Twin linked Las cannons, Missile launchers, drop pod.

Or 2 assault squads, or a vanguard squad... I really don't know...

Well, any thoughts?

This might seem obvious but what about a devastator squad? 200 points worth leaves 300 for something else

Yeah... but it kinda makes the firepower uneven, making it easier to decide which objective to take.

I want the two forces to be able to support each other, but be completely self sufficient.

Ok, I've got it. A ten man sternguard squad with 4 combi-meltas, 2 meltas, A sarge with Melta bombs. They ride in a drop pod with locator beacons and with them, they have a Epistolary with the gate of now you see me now you don't, and either Null zone, smite, the Avenger, or vortex of doom. These guys will hop around, merrily destroying tanks, and anything that gets in their way. I think that they complement the army nicely, but as always, I'm probably wrong.
