Hi guys.
To take my mind out of my bug projects or the stressing Phantom titan blog I decided to try out diferent materials and started a project.

So I scratchbuilted a Plinth and made a terrain piece for my MERCS miniatures warband... In the process I tried and learned a bit how to work with plaster... Im a fan of plaster now! never imagined it was so much fun and easy to work with... saved me a ton of euros if i was getting a huge wood plinth from normal online stores.

I used plaster for the most part, made some moulds for plint cilinder and scratch it all out like a mad man, then used plasticard, wire meshes, plastic kit from hexagon and tons of random bits and pieces... and this is what i have got.
This plinth will accommodate 5 MERCS miniatures... sniper will be on top of plataform and heavy dude near bullets on the ground.

Now to the paint station!

Damn, that´s very nice Navarro, I like the industrial look of it, and the use of parts is good.

How big is it though, it´s kionda hard to get a good feel for the scale..

From top to bottom is about 7inch tall or 18cm.... The Plinth diameter is about 4 inch or 10cm.

Its aimed for 28mm miniatures
