For skin I tend to use elf flesh, then put a dark wash on and touch up the highlights afterwards.

this is what i do and alot of people seem to like it.

1) Basecoat w/ Tallarn Flesh
2) Wash w/ Ogryn Flesh
3) Highlight w/ Dwarf Flesh
-----some people stop there i recommend to do the following steps
4) Mix 50:50 Dwarf Flesh, Elf Flesh
5) Highlight w/ Elf Flesh

These days aI use Elf Flesh -> Sepia Wash x 2 -> elf flesh highlights -> Sepia again.

It´s good for light, yet vibrant skin tones I think. heck out my gunslinger chick in this thread:

It really depends on what tone of skin you want. "I can see a rainbow, see a rainbow..."

Aherm. Anyway. These days I'm finding GW colours to be too vibrant straight out of the pot. I try to mute the colors a bit by mixing in a tiny bit of a complimentary color (most flesh tone paints being something of a pink or orange, that would be greens and blues). A dab of Lightningbolt Blue is working well at the moment.

Ah, someone understands. even when talking just human or counts as human skin you must first consider what type of person. As you mentioned nothing it is likely that as a default you are looking at a form of Caucasian skin colour, as most GW minitures have caucasian facial features, even so there are pale skins and tanned skins.

n'oublie jamais - It appears I now have to highlight this again.

Prime Black, then basecoat vomit brown, leaving thin black lines in the creases in the face, between muscles, etc. Highlight with elf flesh. It's amazing how quick and non fiddly it is for the results it gets.

I generally use Dark Flesh, layered with Dwarf Flesh, then a final highlight of Elf Flesh on noses/cheekbones etc.

Its quick and easy and looks good from a distance - it depends how much detail you wnt to put in.

For your board, drybrush Bleached Bone after the Graveyard Earth and it will do wonders for lighting it up.

Cut your bronze flesh with a very soft beige, almost white paint.

For caucasian flesh I basecoat bestial brown, then blend up to dwarf flesh, then highlight with elf flesh, then maybe a couple of brown glazes. It gives a really good healthy flesh.

Reaper Master Series skin tone triads for the win! They make quick work of just about all the human variances in skin tone/color and have non-human combinations as well.
