1,998 points.
all nurgle units, nice ammount of staying power, plenty of troops.
5 breath of chaos attacks + ku'gaths shooting attack give some nice ranged attacks (close ranged anyway)
idea being: use shooting to start raising the tally, after 2 turns at the most even nurgling should be winning CC against most things.
ku'gath should stay out of CC, he is a beast, but his shooting attack will do more damage.

Edit: screwed up title.

You call this not very competitive, but I would disagree. This looks like a very powerful list. Just be careful on your initial deepstrike. After that, if you connect with that many templates, then you will own everything out of control.

The list looks good and fluffy. Maybe you would have problems against some lists, but in a Tournament it looks that it could do a good job...

I love the Nurgle themed armies, and in general the fluffy armies, so maybe I´m not being objective

Just two things:
1. English is not my mother tongue. I´m really sorry for the misunderstandings and the kicks to the dictionary. Don´t be too hard on me, OK?
2. With the best intentions sometimes comes the worst advice. But you asked for it, didn't you?

Looks good. Just about the only change I'd make is to drop one of the Nurgling units, and a few from each of the other two (perhaps down to 7!), to take another 10-man unit of Plaguebearers. Also, finding points for musicians in the squads would be nice. Just be very cautious where you put Epi and with which squad.

i plan to keep epi clear as much as possible.
dont want him near combat, his purpose is simply the tally.

where i want to be

Might want to check the math on your DP.Other then that looks good might have a bit of trouble against a lot of range but there is deep striking to take care of that if they land where you want should not have much of a problem.

lol, thought i did something wrong, was ment to be unholy Str instead of hide, ended up with iron hide on there for unholys points.
DP - 80
unholy might - 20
mark of nurgle - 30
breath of chaos - 30

160.

I might drop the beasts and pick up flight for DPs then drop all the big guys to start the tally real quick

had a friend run a list kinda like this recently with 4 heralds all with BoC for nasty template fun. only he of course was not going for the tally.

I agree with tzeentchling, one more unit of plaguebearers by dropping some nurglings. Other than that, WOW! That list is gonna hurt some folks or at least turn them into disgusting diseases for Papa Nurgle.

Unholy might? Bah. Take Cloud of Flies and Noxious Touch instead. Saves 5 points on each model and lets you wound on 2s in cc, plus gives you grenades. Definitely more worth it. And honestly, that +1S isn't going to do you too much more good against vehicles. 5+2D6 is very nearly the same as 6+2D6, especially since you're hitting rear armor.

i gues so tzeentchling, but things like liths are still annoying to kill.

True, but Unholy Might won't help you there - monstrous creatures don't get the bonuses against the Living Metal Monolith, so S6 can't hurt it. In fact, the only thing that could in the army are (I believe) Kugath's Necrotic missiles, and I suppose Breath can glance it, for all the good it's likely to do.

That pretty much leaves Land Raiders and Dreadnoughts/Walkers as the only targets with AV>10. Against Dreads, S5 is nearly as good as S6 when you add that 2D6, though I can see it being slightly more useful against the new Ironclads. LRs are a problem period, and you'll need a good roll even with the S6 boost to damage them. But against normal enemies, which the Princes should be targeting and killing first to increase the tally, Noxious Touch is simply superior for the points.

never thought about it, and never picked up the necron dex before, so didnt know that one.
im thinking this army isnt as strong as it could be, but to make it stronger i would need something like a thirster in here to take down monoliths.

Honestly, I wouldn't worry too much about monoliths. The Particle Whip isn't strong enough to deny you FNP, and it's only AP3. The flux arcs are laughable against Nurgle. True, they can get their guys out and shoot you, but focus on killing the Necrons rather than concentrating on the monoliths.

thats a point.
might aswell go for a quick phase out if playing necrons.

If you're fighting monolith spam, your best bet is to just get into combat with his infantry and hope your troops don't die. monoliths you won't be able to kill, but that won't be too much of a big deal... they don't have enough dakka to pose too much of a threat to most of your stuff. landraiders won't be too much of an issue, just make sure you charge it, and don't get tank shocked. you don't want your DP's going crunch-crunch under their treads.

Raiders arent a problem, they can be killed by either ku'gath or the 3 DP's, its just mono's i need to hide from

I completely agree with what was posted on another thread with not going for the liths at all and focus soley on the troops against necrons.

necrons shouldnt be a problem, the more monoliths the better, means they will be taking less warriors and make it alot easier to phase them out.
