I'm a wolf lord who is in dire need of some heavy support. I'm torn between adding a predator with twin-linked lascannons or a leman russ exterminator. I was looking for advice and feedback. I'm relatively a newb.

This is more of a tactics question than a general discussion.

But you should take a Predator Annihilator for a couple of reasons.
#1. The Space Wolves invented the Annihilator, so it is fluffy.
#2. You need all of the anti-tank you can get.

Although the Leman Russ is a nice vehicle, it is way over-priced for what it does. Not only that, but you really don’t need anti-infantry shooting.

Take the Pred. It's a *real* Marine weapon.

option 3: a vindicator

it's strength 10 - woo woo, die tanks
It's a pie plate - woo woo die infantry
its AP2 - woo woo die terminators

also nothing concentrates the mind like facing a vindie, it'll take fire off your more valuable venerable dread as he charges towards something juicy.

you do have a venerable dread don't you.


Oh and some OBEL wolf scouts with melta bombs, all the anti-tank a wolf can need

Yeah, Vindies should be a given for the first couple Heavy slots.

I wouldn't risk buying a LRE, it may not be in the new codex.
