Friend linked this to me the other day, and I thought it was cool so I'm putting it here, again. Hopefully Yak won't delete it this time.

Versteckt in den Schatten deines Geistes.

That's a very small Mega Gargant. Very small Gargants for that matter.

And what's up with the Stompas not having feet? I know that GW released some abominations without feet, but it just goes against the principle of the Stompa; that of stomping.

It's a lovely picture, but the Gargants are way too small. A Mekboy Gargant is easily the size of a Warhound and a couple of times its mass.

Considering that the "Ruzzbot" makes mention of being used as a looted russ or demolisher, and the Stompa makes reference to a Baneblade or Battlefortress (hence the tracks I'm betting), I think it's safe to assume that this chart pre-dates Apocalypse and the 4th ed Ork Codex.

Actually, I first remember seeing "Ruzzbotz" on The Waaagh.

EDIT:
The sizes/scale looks to be based off the epic models. Hopefully this doesn't turn into another "scales" thread, as it's next to impossible to judge how big some of these things really are, since all the fluff is contradictory. Also, going off of the size of the Imperial Battleships on "Merzo.net", and the Battlefleet Gothic models, the Cruiser is at least too small. Of course, that's assuming that the scale on Merzo.net is correct, which is debatable.

It's not a cruiser though, the Savage Gunship is an escort.

Adrift within the vortex of my imagination.

These scales are not canon.

The gargants are small, but it is a refreshing change from the hundred of metres depicted in some artwork.

"Supa Stompa" - About right for as Stompa.
"Ork Gargant" - About right for a mekboy Gargant, just add lots of 'cranes'.
"Great Gargant" - This would do as a Slasher.
"Mega Gargant" - If you removed the cranes it would do for a Great Gargant. The Megagargant is about 40% bigger than this.

The only consistent artwork for any BFG ships is on the cover of one of the Gaunts Ghost books. This would put an Imperial transport at about 300-350m long, thus the Savage being slightly bigger would be about 400m long. Double the size depicted here.

However official figures for BFg were created without oo much fore-thought. a Cobra destropyer is about similar in size to a Star Destroyer, thus doubling the size scale yet again.

n'oublie jamais - It appears I now have to highlight this again.

I've always been a fan of the original Adeptus Titanicus box art and the phrase: "Like walking battleships". That picture of the Imperious Dictatio on the cover of Titan II: Vivaporius is good too. A Titan should be something that needs a sizable crew and room for that crew to fight boarding actions and such.

The GW staffer has a vaguely Shawn of the Dead vibe going on.

Working on someting you'll either love or hate. Hopefully to be revealed by November.

Maybe more Shawn the Sheep than Shaun of the Dead?

Either way, why does all the detail disappear when people make big models? You wouldn't be happy with a mini that flat and boring, so why lose all the attention to detail when you scale up?

All the Gargants lack the old Armorcast phallus gun! That's a shame

I'm going to have to mark down the painting score on the Warlord Titan... There's not enough blending or battle damage. And where are the conversions?? There's a total lack of creativity! Geez

[/sarcasm]

Actually, I really like the Warlord Titan. That's a great pic! The missiles and the chest need work. But overall it's a great model. It actually looks like a Warlord Titan from Epic! It has the right size and dimensions. I can't believe some of the horrible abominations that try to pass for Warlord Titans. I give props to anyone that will put in the time and effort to make one. But still.. some are just terrible. The above pic is pretty incredible IMHO.
