Anyone happen to have a picture of Gulavhar, the Terror or Arnor (demon from Lord of the Rings) next to a Carnifex?

Failing that, a picture next to a tape measure or something so I can get a sense of his scale would be great.

Also if you happen to know if it's metal or plastic would be great.

Nah, thinking of using parts of him for a Winged Hive Tyrant, and wondering how well the size of him and a carnifex will mix for it.

This is pretty much the only picture I can find where he's not by himself. He looks like he may be about the right scale for what I have in mind, though possibly a tad on the weedy side.

No, that should be alright. The war walker, compared to the autarch, looks about the same size as a fex. Doesn't look rediculously big/small at least.

plastic is much easier to work with aswell.

If I wanted just the wings I would. Had been looking at the Balrog wings in fact which is how I found this guy. With him, I would use pretty much everything but the center torso and head. Fear my leet Microsoft Paint skills!

Yeah, the scale looks about right. I played with him once. He's got some pretty kick-ass stats, but I'm guessing you don't play Lord of the Rings. Although, nice idea on the 'Nid Hive Tyrant.

Yeah, carve off the armor plates from the `fex legs or maybe just Green Stuff the armor onto the front of the demon legs. Quite possibly take off the toes and give him hooves. Give him a pair of Scything Talons on each hand. I'd use a different head than what I've got shown as well, and try to copy his original pose as best I can.

Oh, I'll note it would be a few weeks before I could even really start it. My FLGS budget for next week is already blown, and then they don't stock LotR so I'd have to see if they can order it for me. Plus I'm lazy and I procrastinate a lot.
