Those bloodcrushers already wound everything except toughness 9 and 10 on 6s, so why give them rending?

Dreads
I guess I should also state how I would drop. I would always take second turn (obviously) if possible and drop in the following order;
Skulltaker w/ Crushers, so that leaves 10 total units to drop or 5/5.
First drop would (hopefully) consist of;
Soulgrinder
Soulgrinder
Soulgrinder
Plaguebearers
Plaguebearers
Flamers either use Icons or I suicide them to wipe out dev/reapers/lootas/whatever scares me. Bearers hopefully tie up enemy units...then I rush in letters (and in 5th they can't hit them the turn they jump in the melee!). Nurglings run to objectives in cover/tie up enemy units (2+ Inv save in cover?). Grinders lob pie plates while advancing and jump in HTH asap. Crushers...well crush .
If the Gods disagreed...it would suck but not be catastrophic. Crushers are tough, letters are big enough unit to survive a bit. Nurglins would be first wave and could advance to tie up enemy units. I would be hyper-aggressive with the two flamer units and try to take out two potential scary units.

I like your list. The only thing I would change is spilt the plaguebearers (Icons) so that you will have one Icon in each group, just incase you don't get the your 1st choice. So 1st drop soulgrinder x3, plaguebearers w/Icon and Nurglings. Hope this helps.

I debated that, as I normally split two units of PBs in either wave...but this would be more aggressive (with two icons giving me greater flexibility of where to drop). I can certainly see the merit in splitting though...will have to debate it...33% of the Gods saying no is fairly big . Thanks for the comment.

Your math is off on the bloodletters, you're 10 points over, unless your spending points on a instrument.

Yeah I forgot to mention in the OP one had Fury (Rending). So that's the 10 pts missing, good catch!

Only thing I would suggest would be to drop two of the bloodletters and nurglings for some horrors.

Are Horrors that great? I have 10 painted up but lack much experience using them. They've been fine when I used them...but not anything that has really impressed me yet (As I've said, I haven't used them much). If you use them, do you Bolt of Change/Changeling? The Changeling seems a no brainer for 5 pts...dunno about a BS 3 Bolt though.
Playing around with AB, I can drop the Nurglings, drop the PBs to 9/each and the Letters down to 15. This gives me enough room for 9 Horrors w/ Changeling. Thoughts?

Couple thoughts:
I think you are going to have a tough time with tank hunting / hth walkers. This is were units like GUOs and BTs really shine.
4 blood crushers won;t make it to combat. That unit is the big fighty units, so it will get all the shooting on it. If you are fielding them as a fire magnet fine, but as a useful unit I've found only 8 in a squad works. 4 always die before they get there and the 4 left can still hold there own.
Flamers x 3
105
Flamers x 3
105
Flamers are awesome. I'm less in love with them than most people though. The best case scenerio is that they drop perfectly then they each get roughly 5 hits, about 7.5 kills on marines. The marines then charge back and kill you off. You come out a little a head point wise, but now your a kill point down, or have lost points that could hold an objective. I've switched my breathe of chaos units over to units like GUOs, which can puke a couple times a game and will still challenge in the end game.
Plaguebearers x 10 w/ Icon
175
Plaguebearers x 10 w/ Icon
175
Every army needs plague bearers. I ran exactly this configuration at first. Now I run one large unit of 18 with an icon. I find that scattering from summoning really isn't all that big of deal, but fielding a unit that can tar pit almost any unit in the game for as long as you want, is a huge deal. Plus my way saves a lot of points. ie another blood crusher.
Letters x 18
1 with Rending
298
Why the rending? You have a snowballs chance in hell to take down a dread anyway. Spending points makes your units handle more than they are designed for is inefficient.
Nurglins x 5
65
Love / Hate for these guys. With Epidemius, sure they are worth it. Without him don't waste your time. They can't score.
Soulgrinder w/ Phlegm
160
Soulgrinder w/ Phlegm
160
Soulgrinder w/ Phlegm
160
I like this. A special note to these guys. The phlem cannon is not ordinance. It's just large blast, so you can shoot the phlem and all the other weapons too.

Some quality and time consuming feedback! Much appreciated, here is my updated list (I actually dropped skulltaker, perhaps he can be a counts as..)
BloodThirster
Unholy Might and Blessing/Blood God
275
8 Bloodcrushers of Khorne, one with rending
330
3 Flamers
105
18 Plaguebearers w/ Icon
300
16 BloodLetters
256
SoulGrinder w/ Phlegm
160
SoulGrinder w/ Phlegm
160
SoulGrinder w/ Phlegm
160
That looks strong, only thing I'm concerned about is I only have 2 scoring....but if they're all dead it doesn't matter I guess .

I personally don't like the large squads. I would much rather split into 4 scoring units.
The people that take the large troop squads don't take very many grinders/monstrous creatures. They tend to focus more on a horde concept. You'll never know til you play around with it whats more of your style!
A dread heavy list is going to cause you nightmares. They can tie up or destroy everything in your list except the thirster.
