Oh right, silly of me. That's okay, then. Was kinda fearful they wouldn't turn up in EU distribution.

I was just thinking that Mark should have made a leviathan sized version of the AA guns on the support weapons. The heavy troopers seem to have the option to tote them, but on a leviathan... now that would have been a Rifleman!

I was looking at my HEL toting big beastie, and my first thought was "doesn't this look like a certain very popular 70 ton battlemech..."

Mark, if you're able to update on the left arm armor situation, that would be great! I assume this won't be an issue for Wave 3 when I get my 15mm arms

Also, now that wave 2 is well under way, if you would show us some of those renders you've been hiding for wave 3, I know I would really appreciate it

Finally, someone else but me says it. It was beginning to feel lonely on twitter-weaned mountain, you know.

Yeah arm armor is something I'd be very interested to hear about, and W3 renders something I'd be very interested to see!

Not sure if I can handle more awesomeness after seeing the deadzone production minis. Might be best to space it out another week before we get something awesome from Mark ; p

It's nothing we haven't seen, but can't hurt to include some renders to whet the appetite. Can't believe how awesome they still look... a year later now ; p KS ended 16 September 2012. 1 year, coming on 2 months ago now.

Yes, and the support Valkir carry miniature versions of the Beowulf/Grendel gun, Novacanon, H.E.L., as well as the AA guns and AT gun from the support weapons pack.

I regret not getting any of the support Valkir...

I guess so. If shipping can be worked out from China for people out my way, I'll be getting some of those APCs with it...

TL'DR Mark liked the "wait to ship the missing items until wave 3" idea, but realising not everyone might go for it, is still offering to ship it out now.

Update #114 Nov 8, 2013
Shipping the missing left arm armor and the parts for the 15mm Crusader
Spoiler:
I spoke with WGF yesterday and they have completed the run of the Capacitor Cooler and Excalibur for the 15mm Leviathan Crusader stretch goals. They are running the left arm armor now for the Ripper Saw, HEL Cannon, Beowulf/Grendel, Nova Cannon kits. They hope to have these ready to ship soon.

Due to the cost of shipping, and the possibility that some of you may not be using the left arm armor, WGF has asked me if they could create a web based request. They will be including the Capacitor coolers and sword for the 15mm Crusader on this list for those of you who would prefer to wait.

The options they would like to present to you are:

1) Please ship the missing items now.

2) I have stage three items and I would like the missing components included with that shipment.

3) I do not need these components, please do not send them.

You will be receiving an email from WGF that will include the login information to the request how you would like us to handle your undelivered items.

I apologize for the extra step. The shipping expenses are far from marginal, so I felt it was a prudent request.

Many of you may be thinking, when is stage three going to arrive? I wish I had a firm date, but it is like shooting at a moving target. If you had asked me last month I would have told you Late December or January, as I was approving files and things were heading full steam. Lately things have not been moving at the same pace, so I am left to wonder what a realistic expectation would be.

Looking at the upcoming Chinese holiday season I would doubt we will make it out before the country begins its shut down. Asking me today, my best guess would be Late April/May. The thought of passing a full year without completing this project is frustrating, I can only hope that the quality of what you are receiving in some small way makes up for the delays.

Thank you again,

Mark Mondragon

That's all quite reasonable, but here we are with another 6 months on top of the existing delays... yowtch.

Meh, my "to be assembled" pile is already quite enormous (all of my Wave 1 DFG stuff, along with half of a Red Scorpions marine legion, and assorted other projects big and small), that I definitely do not mind waiting to add even more to that pile.

But teaser pictures of the Wave 3 stuff would make the wait easier...(hint).

With another 6 months for the last of the stuff (more than even I had anticipated) and mid-year 2014 delivery, I may actually start in on some of my existing Mecha over my Christmas break. (Because I'll then not likely have time to start properly until Christmas 2014/Jan 2015, which is fething ridiculous for a "2012 delivery" project). Aside from the foot troops and APCs, we're only waiting on the additional 15mm Levi weapon options and the 15mm, Mortii, correct?

Yeah no denying it's a ridiculously large delay, and no wonder Mark was vehement about what would need to be ready and set in stone for the next KS (if he does another).

Yeah, the 28mm leviathans are "done" with the Mortis and 15mm arms being the last of the "mecha" stuff. The rest of wave 3 is 5 infantry kits and the APC+addons if memory serves.

I'd be more upset about the delays if it wasn't for Mantic, ironically. Now that nearly all of my DreadBall stuff is here and DeadZone will be here shortly, followed by KD:M long before I've cleared those two out...yeah....

I'm not sure what way to go with the arm armor. On the one hand I DO want it, because I had a few arms I wanted on the left. On the other hand, with my insane (and soon to be vaster insane-er backlog) I don't know that it's really going to hold me up that badly to wait. I'll have to ponder...

I know what you're saying Krinsath. I wanted double H.E.L.s and double Beowulf/Grendels. The missing armour is not going to put me off, however, as I have not yet finished building and painting the Crusader, never mind the new arms. New weapons are already built with the exception of the armour as that would have interferred too much with the painting.

Besides which I have an absolute invasion of zombies to paint as I have not touched either season of Zombicide yet and that was an Abomination pack from season 1 plus Prison Outbreak, Toxic City Mall, and a host of extras. I hope to get a few bits painted shortly, but given current weather I doubt I'll get anything more undercoated - including Crusader parts and weapon systems - until Christmas anyway.

It'll take Marilyn Monroe, and Lao-Tzu, and Einstein, and Morobuto, and Buddy Holly, and Aristophanes…then all of this…all of this…was for nothing. Unless we go to the stars." Random thought that perhaps Mark could answer since he designed them. I've not poked at the sprues for the arms yet (been busy building the 15mm), but is the part that hooks to the arm largely similar to the left-handed Vulkan? 99% sure with the Wave 2 shipment I'll have 2 of those in the box still and if the armor from those would fit, it might be a "good enough" solution for right now, especially if they're just tacked together somehow (not like there's much call for gaming with them atm).

If they're a bit more tailored like the sword arm's armor, then obviously that works less gooder.

@krinsath, they seem to be the same as the Vulcan, so you could just magnetize that if needed.

Well, at least he's being hopeful on that wave three shipping date. I was that unfortunate soul who chose "Ship it all when everything is ready."

Ah well. Mid summer. At least know I have some idea of when to expect my stuff. That being said, I'm going to be ecstatic when it comes in; It'll be like a present past-me ordered for future-me.

I'll have to send him a thank you letter.
