Yes there is.

What exactly is a second wave? This isn't the first mention of them I've heard.

They released the rule book and a bunch of models in the first couple weeks of the rule book being out. Now they plan on making models for every single unit in the book, so they have a "second" wave of models (no rulebook though) to complete the unit selection.

It's a great idea as far as sustaining interest is concerned, except for the fact that they keep us completely in the dark about what's coming.

Second Daemon wave has a plastic Daemon Prince. Beyond that we know nothing for sure.

Hopefully it will contain plastic daemons. Collecting large numbers of over expensive metals is prohibitive.

Yes, it's much better to collect large numbers of over expensive plastics.

Hopefully we'll get plastic Horrors. Those things are horrible to put together.

I'm sure there will be Horrors and Plaguebearers. Anything else would be completely absurd.

They need to put out the following:
-plastic prince
-plastic horrors
-plastic plaguebearers
-blue scribes (metal or plastic)
-seekers (plastic I hope)

I don't expect models for the named greater daemons though sadly.

Totally agree. I'm not buying gak when I suspect it might be replaced a couple months down the line, and I suspect many people plan their purchases this way... this is why ork progress has gone so slow for me. surely it's bad for business?

Half the time the new stuff is gakkier than the old stuff. Buy what looks good when you want it. Carpe diem!

Good point. I'm quite happy with my legions of metal Daemonettes, as fiddly as they are, and I don't like gangly Bloodletters (even if they are close to the original art). I'm happy with my big burly axe-wielders.

I'm not enough of a fan of the new plastic to hold much hope for any new plastic horrors or plaguebearers. Though i will say that if they hold together better and are easier to build i don't care what the horror's look like since building just the 20 i have is driving me nuts (not to mention they seemed to have majorly mispacked god knows how many boxes as every box I buy has 3 right handed and 2 left handed guys but 3 left hand sprues and 2 right hand sprues)

Oh, And i love the old bloodletters with the huge axes and furry backs. More to paint but they look so much more solid!
