the new templed guard look mean. i suppose this means we are not getting a new Slann model? I like the new Krox, but the new terradon looks a little stupid.

Kroxigor looks pretty cool. Terradon isn't making me excited.
I'm not sure about the temple gaurd either. I've never liked any incarnation of them, but this one sucks the least.

Krox and guard look ok. Not great, but not bad. The Terradon looks like he's missing his skin. I don't think I care for it at all.

It would be virtually impossible to make a kroxigor model worse than the current one.
This one is decent enough, the best yet, but they have been pretty lame in the past.

Temple guard are ok.

Would like to see more terradons shots but I wish they would stick with a look for them and stick with it...

I miss the triceratops helmets the temple guard had.

And shouldn't the kroxigor have, y'know, hips?

Terradon has all the hallmarks of a Trish Morrison sculpt: overbite, weird ripply lines in the mouth, strange proportions, general "rubber monster" asthetic...

Kroxigor looks ok, although I hate the head.

Temple guard look like blinged out saurus warriors, which I guess is what they were going for.

Not at all excited by the models. Guess it saves me from collecting a new army. Shame they couldn't keep the asthetic consistant throughout the range...

Went digging through my old posts, and guess what? I've been hating on mat ward since before it was cool

No, you will either have to use the 5th edition testicle faced Dimetrodon or the 6th edition finned dogs. They do have a new beastie coming out called the Razordon but no one knows what that will look like. Given the current lot of new minis I am less than optimistic.

Only now do I realize how much I prefer Pete Haines' "misprints" to Gav Thorpe's "brainfarts." :Abadabadoobaddon

What with the the new Stegadon and these guys, Lizardmen are looking like a return to form for Fantasy after the disappointing Dark Elves (Corsairs and Cold Ones were good, nothing else was) and Warriors of Chaos ("organising" Chaos into three factions was a daft decision).

Any word on new rules yet?

Up your nose with a rubber hose.

If I played Lizardmen and had a pile of money I'd just use Dragonblood's Lizardmen and Troglodytes (as Skinks). I still love the old Slann Mage Priest though.

The dragonblood stuff is great. I'm thinking about using stuff from crocodile games for my kroxigors if I decide to use something besides skinks.. these guys..

yeah, those are great. Never seen them before. One could also substitute good ol' plastic dinosaurs for Pterodons.

I'd love to see those last-ed. chorus-line Kroxigors arranged behind the Gospel-singer Broodlord. GW does Broadway...

The originals looked damn cool! I think they were Jes models, weren't they?

The old, pre-last edition metal Kroxigors were great, IMO. The last set was just atrocious, almost as bad as the metal possessed. These are almost great. The body is much better, the pose makes a bit mor sense(although I prefer the oldest with their "about to smash your face with mah club" pose) and their skin isn't a mess. If they could make the head look better than a lumpy potato than it would be a definite buy.

Dakka. You need more of it. No exceptions.

I want some metal possessed now.

Kroxigors never do it for me but I might use Chameleon skinks this time around. Kroxigor conversions are usually half decent.

honestly i was hoping for a bit more form the guys over at GW

the temple guard are pretty good, i like the skulls and them looking more ferocius, cool weapons too, but maybe a little too "pile bitz on 'em and call them temple guard"

i must admit i saw the terradon and my jaw hit the floor in horror, they may be my favorite unit in the lizardmen army and GW made them ugly kangroos mid jump with a stupid flat face and a skink whos practically falling off, ill stick with the older version thank you very much...sorry little rant

the kroxigor isnt great, not terrible but not what i had hoped for. its pose is static and its IQ is bordering 5 but he also looks considerably meaner with a nicer (bigger, tougher, more brutal) weapon.

kinda disappointed though

what crazy weapons witht the temple gaurd! its just a saurus sword on a stick! awesome.

i dont like the Kroxigor head. it make the model look like he's slow in the head. like it's goofilly (totally not a word) happy.

They look really sweet, does anyone know when lizard men were last updated/last had new models brought out?

I don't mind the teradons that much, I think the paint job in the pic is kind of bland.. they could look good with some more detail painted on
