Welcome, once again, to a grand battle report brought to you by Wargamereports.com. This time around we have WGR's mapmaker Siggi who will be playing his Necron force against Örn Steinar, playing Space Marines, who featured in WGR's very first battlereport, then playing Haukur, who will be writing the text for this battlereport. So in a way we've come full circle. The rules are simple, no objectives, no contesting. Just kill or be killed!

Enjoy the rest of the battle featured with superb maps, pictures and text at:

Indeed, if WD had an online version they should employ us to make their reports

Excellent report, the use of transparency to show pre movement position is a nice touch and helps with the clarity of what can only be described as a professionally written report.

If it were down to me, a job at WD would be waiting for you.

As for the battle itself, damn fine reading. A good game, well done all round.

Yeah pretty damn good report for sure!
It´s funny how I read through the turns, looked at the pics and in the end thought "wow, over yet?" Feels like not much happened even if it was a action packed game. Maybe because I´m used to play with more points and just started 40k again. Played WHF a lot before and 3k+ WHF games are weekend fillers

Sweet report.

Yeah, I definitely agree on the Sternguard thing.

I think the marine force will be so much more deadly after the player gets more experience with choosing a strong list.

Very nice report.

Sternguard are almost a must as I understand it, a buddy of mine takes them in games as low as 750, and he claims they make back their points.

Tbh, I don't understand the Deceiver at all, but you seem to do very well with it, congrats!

Keep up the carnage.
