So, over (with any luck) the next week I'm going to start scratchbuiding a TH for my Dark Angels army.
Thought it was high time they got their wings...

As of yet I have plans, I have a few of the needed materials and I have the vision of how it's meant to look...

All I need is some suggestions as to the materials I don't have i.e. what thickness of plasticard would be best, what I shoudl use for detailing th hull etc.

Any and all suggestions are welcome and will be much appreciated as this will be my first scratchbuild to come to fruition

Thanks in advance!

GMW

P.S. once I start building I will be posting pictures and updates, which is why I put this post here

yeah, will be doing.

Don't worry, I already know not to use paper.

Gonna start with a cardboard mock-up probably tomorrow so there should be a couple of pics by tomorrow evening!

Ok, not had a great deal of time today to get to work but I have a front piece in cardboard ala frosties box.

Nothing picture worthy yet but as soon as I get some they'll be here!

One of the nice things about building with card is that you can tweak the dimensions to make things slimmer / thicker, longer / shorter, etc. Have fun!
