Need opinions... rough drafts of each..

Left was the Tin Bitz (antique look) trial then when I started painting other pieces on the armor, the claws didnt look special..

SO..

I went a little extreme, and the result is on the right.. Hot , right out of the forge look, with my attempt at transfering the glow to the lower armor.. I love this one.

But let me know what you think about the claw options.

The glowing look is excellent. The only issue I have is the way the glow suddenly stops at his collar. Get the lighting on the armour just right, and that will be one fantastic model.

The glowy one is well done and certainly catches the eye more. However, it looks like he has pieces of candy corn for fingers to me.

Candy corn is delicious though!

And the glow is the winner.

I like the second one but the glow just seems a little bit too powerful to me, to each his own I suppose, but I would have kept it to the region immediately surrounding the lightning claws.

Interceptor Drones can disembark at any point during the Sun Shark's move (even though models cannot normally disembark from Zooming Flyers).

LOL candy corn... never thought of that until it was said haha.. I could have done the same effect with any other color for the glow but I was liking the red/orange.

Wow- great effect.

Wait, which claws are those? I've hated all the lightning claws that I've seen from the new kits (the stupid boxy fist-with-a-potato-slicer look). These are all kinds of wicked and sharp. Are they from the Chaos termi lord box, or are they older or conversions? Not being a Marine player, I'm not familiar with 'em.

EDIT: Dude, your sig pic should link to a site to sell your services if you're going to post great work like this...

Infinity: Way, way better than 40K and more affordable to boot!

Looks great.

As this is your first attempt at this and you did such an awesome job on the lighting effect can you run through what you did to the model to get the lighting effect?

Glad you like it! Everything came from the Term Lord Box. And I'm updating my site right now.
