Honestly, I don't know what the developers were thinking.

How can you create an MMORPG these days and not include Jedi? It's Madness!

Are you sure you're not thinking of KOTOR 2? The one that is widely believed to have an ok storyline, but certainly not stellar? The first game had me running around a few planets, killing giant monsters, talking to a few jedi, and going through tons of dialogue before I got a lightsaber. Roughly half the game could be played as the soldier class before you were forced to pick up a lasersword because if you didn't you would die repeatedly (something i hated).

Just something I picked up from the other thread, I actually beat the game using only blasters. The key is to spend all moneys you find on awsome armour and blasters, then spend the rest on as many life support kits as possible and only level up if you absolutely need to as the planets difficulty are all delegated by your level. (Though the more planets you visit the gap between the level you are and the level the game sets the planet at increases.) Its all about strategy.

Yeah, I win all fights using nothing but Force Lightning. I didn't have stellar armor, either, just the stuff that lets you cast with no penalties. I could run around with armor and no weapons and still beat the game as long as I have Force Lightning.

Eh. Fluff-wise I think there is plenty in the Warhammer universe that would give Jedi a run for their money...

Tzeench Lords from the last edition of the Hordes of Chaos, Daemons of the Greater and Princely variety, Malekith, Malus, Tyrion, Teclis, Orion, Drycha, Archaon, just to name a few.

I think we could go a couple more pages if we named EVERYTHING in the Warhammer universe that could take on a Jedi...

Crom, Grimgor, hell i even think Ariel would have a good shot at it, think of the embarrassment for the jedi being beat by a giant fairy woman with a stick

Mere exposure to Ariel's rubbish model induces a fatal seizure in force-sensitive creatures.

Not even a pile a Episode 1 VHS tapes has this effect.

Oh, a Squig could take on a Jedi. How exactly are you going to go about blocking Pac-man on legs?

I'll use a Culexus assassin. Using the Force has to be the same as being a psyker, right?

I'll just give a Jedi an new weapon called a plasma pistol and encourage him to shoot a lot...

Standing right behind you...

Why should there be a jedi in WAR? ... sounds awfully 'turtle' like to me, we might need to bake it.

Would this baking be taking a pie-like form?

Quite, though if there aren't any jedi involved in the baking process then I would be very disappointed.

No, but they might use Force Weapon.
