Subject: Wind of Chaos: Do Saves Apply?

Do saves apply to models wounded by the Chaos Space Marine spell Wind of Chaos?
For example:
1. CSM Sorcerer successfully passes his psychic test and uses Wind of Chaos on a lone Space Marine Terminator.
2. "Models under the template suffer a wound on a 4+"--CSM Sorcerer rolls a 5
3. Does the SM Terminator receive his 2+ armor save or 5+ ward save?

He uses his Invulnerable save. Winds of Chaos specifically says that neither Armour nor Cover saves may be taken against wounds inflicted by it.

Thank you.
Now I need to improve my reading comprehension. :\

Thats a really nasty spell isn't it? I have no idea what they shoot, but it sure feels like a stop gap rule for flamers to make them decent...
Lookout.

It's even better if you play a Warptime on the model before ripping off a Wind of Chaos in the shooting phase.

Ouch. It's like a Space Marine eraser.

My Daemon Prince uses the warptime/wind of chaos combo to great effect, it does however bring him up to 205 points.

Agreed.
In my game group, like to play a pair of winged Tzeentch DP's and give each of them BOTH spells.
Both guys in my group are far more experienced and better players than I am. I like to watch them sweat bullets as I fly these things at him, side by side, rerolling armor and invulnerable saves all the way until I crush their lines.
In KP missions, I have gotten MORE than my KP back every time (except one, when I only got 2 KP), and usually DOUBLE their KP at minimum.
One of these bad boys annihilated Marneus & 5 Assault Termies in one (2 turn) combat, then an entire -tricked out- Vanguard Vet's squad in one turn.

Warptime is a purely offensive power - it only lets you re-roll hits, and wounds. You can't re-roll saves, at all.
