Here are some pics of my Eldar so far. Some squads need finishing like the Pathfinders and Guardian support platforms etc. Will post more when I finish new squads.

Looking good. Why did you choose to go with the zig-zag pattern on the falcons? I see this in 90% of the Ulthwe out there and I can find no reason for it in the fluff.

Meh, they're alright I suppose, if you're into that kind of thing. A bit more practice and I think you could almost get your painting up to tabletop standards I bet.

I like how you copied the Fire Prism from the old craftworld Eldar codex. Nicely done.

n'oublie jamais - It appears I now have to highlight this again.

Just two things:
1. English is not my mother tongue. I´m really sorry for the misunderstandings and the kicks to the dictionary. Don´t be too hard on me, OK?
2. With the best intentions sometimes comes the worst advice. But you asked for it, didn't you?

your eldar are eye candy!.. compared to Aduro's eldar (BELOW).. I figure if someone is gonna say "Meh" on their high horse... lets see what they got and if their opinion has any weight.

Meh

I just hate when people come in to make negative comments on paint jobs.. if he was asking for pointers.. ok.... if not, just look and encourage my fellow painters.

My next unit to complete is the Scorpions. There will be 10 in the unit but only have these 4 nearing completion at the mo.

I'm hoping that there's an inside joke there between Aduro and the OP?

Right?

I also tried to do that zigzag pattern on my falcon and failed miserably.. kudos to you op.

And its a joke, TT standard just haha.

No inside joke, I'm just overflowing with copious amounts of sarcasm. I usually have a disclaimer stating as much in my sig, but I'm currently honoring the greatness that is Gurren Lagann, which just recently finished it's English debut on SciFi. I thought I had it layered on thick enough in the post to make up for the lack of disclaimer, but I guess not.

p.s. Green scorpions? Pft... That's so been done before.

Ok, not updated this log in 14 months so here are the lateset additions to the warhost painted during that time;

WIP includes another 10 man storm squad, 10 Striking Scorpions, 2 Wave Serpents, 1 Night Spinner, 5 more Jetbikes, 15 Wraithguard, an Autarch, 20 Warp Spiders, 2 Firestorms and 10 Harlequins. This will bring it to a respectable Apocalypse sized Warhost. Must.... go.... paint....

Very nice Ulthwe man, very nice. I love the tinted glass effect on the War walkers. Did you just ink them?

Stunning army - just lovely to look at and a really nice limited pallet. My favourites have got to be the wraithguard/lord - they look beautiful in the bone, and the Eye of Isha is a nice touch.

I think the fellow in question was being ironic, by stating that theyre not up to tabletop standard, when in fact theyre really good. I believe the technical term is "lol"

...urrrr... I dunno

Mmm-mmm. Very nice! That is a damn finely-painted army. I think I like the Wraithguard/Wraithlord most, but the vehicles (those Prism-ish things whose names I can never remember) are also excellent. Will be watching this thread with interest!

Epic. I love how when you look at this army in larger numbers they seem to blur into one massive force. However on a smaller scale they are filled with detail.
