When a necron monolith deepstrikes onto a unit the unit is forced to move out of the way as opposed to the standard deepstrike outcome.
Well, what if the unit in question cannot be moved out of the way, due to terrain and/or other units?

hmm interesting question, since it says to move the models "the minimum distance necessary to make space for the monolith" I guess you just keep going until you find a spot with enough room for your guys to be in, there's really no limit to that movement.

Although to be honest, it never says they can't be moved into impassable terrain by this which is more than a bit dubious.

Interceptor Drones can disembark at any point during the Sun Shark's move (even though models cannot normally disembark from Zooming Flyers).

or onto dangerous terrain...

My main concern is with the near base-to-base sea of 60 orks on a city-fight style board.

Make like a Necron Moses and part the green sea! If they need to move, they move. I imagine that will put them several feet away if you drop in their backfield. I'd imagine the Orks being blown bodily out of the way by the repulsor fields. In my dream, they're all yelling loudly and enjoying the ride immensely.

Basically, you can't place models on other models. Because of that, and the imperative to move the models out of the way until they can be placed, I think they would go as far as they needed to. I wouldn't move them into impassable terrain. I would push them through dangerous terrain, and force a test for it.

Can you move vehicles this way too?

English doesn't borrow from other languages. It follows them down dark alleyways and mugs them for loose grammar.

Think of it this way. If you're in a blind alley, and a steamroller is coming down it towards you, you'll find a way to let it pass.

Well... what if it runs you over and kills you because you couldn't find a way out?

LOL this is the exact situation many D&D players found themselves in while adventuring through The Tomb of Horrors. Juggernauts are MUCH more deadly in that realm than GW's.

(And yes this is completely off topic)

The idea is that it takes extra effort and time to write properly, and they’d rather save the time. If you can still be understood, what’s the harm? While most of the time a sloppy post CAN be understood, the use of proper grammar, punctuation, and spelling is generally seen as respectable and desirable on most forums. It demonstrates an effort made to be understood, and to make your post an easy and pleasant read. By making this effort, you can often elicit more positive responses from the community, and instantly mark yourself as someone worth talking to.

I'd move them as much as necessary, and if movement is impossible (enemy models, terrain etc) then I'd remove them, as if they couldn't make a fall back move.

Just move them out of the way any way possible just make sure not to be within 1" of the Monolith.

and if there isn't enough room to move the models out of the way? Has anyone else ran into this situation?
