Has any one noticed that harlequins is similar to the name harley quin (the joker's girlfriend form batman) and the fact that harlequins and harley quin both dress up as clowns. Is it me or did games workshop rip off Batman?

The batman character was made up in the 90s for the animated series..... well after the eldar fluff was written, Not to mention the 500+ years of historical facts. So that make to wrong on all accounts....

I work here. Unfortunately, it is not a meeting place for Death Jesters and their respective troupes.

I really should be spending my time more constructively.

That's probably a good thing. They're right gits in my opinion.

Anyone ever notice that the Eldar have a unit called striking "scorpions?"

There was a guy in Mortal Kombat with the same name!

The Emperor doesn't seem to do much for you but you sure are expected to be mutilated, suffer, and die to make him happy. And is he dead or what? If he's entombed that would mean he's dead as a doornail, right? So, how can he be happy about anything you do, or even give orders to anyone? Are you worshipping the dead now? Is that something you'd really want to do? Because it sounds freaking creepy to me.

Actually, GW's brand of Chaos is pretty much a complete rip-off of Micheal Moorcock.

YO DAKKA DAKKA!

Better than the OT would have suggested.

... It's-The Gee-Dub Rip-Off Thr-Ead!

Looks like no one noticed that I accidently accredited the old Harlequin rules to Jes Goodwin instead of Old Thorpey up there.

Before he left he was threatening to rip off Paul Sawyer. First losing the hair, then starting to get fat... oh yeah, and then _leaving_.

White Dwarf is ripping off most every other magazine by being rubbish.

Back to being serious, though. Obviously the Emperor himself is the biggest rip-off of Stephen Hawkings ever. And they didn't even do it properly. Stephen Hawkings never went to other planets to meet his 'Primarch' sons.

Idiots.

And aren't Orcs/Orks a rip off of Tolkein, who was born in South Africa, which is in the continent of Africa, like Egypt is, where they had Mummies? Has Games Workshop ripped off my Mum?

If you started this hobby under the age of fifteen, it's very likely that GW has ripped off your mum.

You're probably right.
You know who else was right? Einstein. And he's got 'stein' in his name. Like 'Frankenstein', which was written by Mary Shelley. And she's a woman. Like Macy Gray. And although she spells it differently, her name is like 'Grey'. As in the Grey Knights. Did you rip GW off?

John McCain's name is a rip from the Canadian food company by the name of McCain.

Stephen Harper's name is a rip from the Harpers in Dungeons and Dragons.

The Grey Knights are actually a rip-off from the band of villains of the same name in the TV show "Where's Waldo?" (yes, there was a TV show). They liked to cut down trees and push precariously-perched boulders down cliffs.

Is that the McCain that makes oven chips?

I'm writing a load of fiction. My latest story starts here... This is the index of all the stories...

We're not very big on official rules. Rules lead to people looking for loopholes. What's here is about it.

Well, considering that the Tyranids were around before Starcraft, I would say that the Zerg were a total rip off of the Tyranids.
