What with the advent of being able to equip Dreadnoughts with Chainfists and Seismic Hammers, I thought it would be interesting to return to the old days of diverse Dreadnought weapons.
Obvously there's the Chaos Dreadnought Thunder Hammer, as the Space Marine Thunder Hammer.
But there's also the Power Scourge, which I think hitting at the Dreadnought's Strength but with +1D6 attacks and ignoring armour.
What else?

The "Fluffy Bunny Flail";
A half dozen baby bunnies are chained together at the end of a rod. When activated, the Dreadnought swings the flail about then slamming it against the ground, sending bits of bunny in all directions, the survivors are left broken and crying.
S - AP - R12"
Causes instant pinning as the opponent is left in a crying heaps at the shear cruelty of the weapon.

Funny how SM get the weapon choices while the dreadnaught that comes with them, CSM, doesn't. Not that anyone would ever take a CSM dreadnaught.

Maybe the next CSM book will bring some of the options back. They need it alot more.
For Chaos Dreads some sort of demon tentacle that can breach and penetrate armor and play Cuisinart on the crew inside.
I think normal marines have enough as it is.

Techboss:
I take Chaos Dreadnoughts. Of course, they look awfully like Furioso Dreadnoughts, but them's the breaks.
Anyhow, anyone else have some suggestions for Dreadnought weapons? Any idea for Bjorn the Fell-Handed's Dreadnought-class Lightening Claw? Differentiate between the Deff Dread's Snips and Buzz-saw?

We've actually been using the Power Scourge like that for a while. +D6 attacks in combat, rolled every round, but base strength (S6), and it's a power weapon. Changes the role of the Dread completely, as he's no longer a guy who plots through enemy units with S10 overkill, but scythes through them very quickly with 3+D6 attacks every round.

Mind you, this isn't a free upgrade. The cost we've been using in our tests is +25 points, which is a pretty hefty price but so far has proven to be worth it. These Dreads turn out to be worthless when they walk into something that's the same size as them, but with a good gun backing it up, the Power Scourge is a great weapon.
My Dread that has it even picked up a name - Triple Corpse Hammer Blow - armed with a Power Scourge, Combi-Bolter and Twin-Linked Autocannon. He has gone through games simply annihilating skimmers and other medium vehicles with his guns before charging the hapless occupants and slicing them up with his scourge. He's become the bane of many players in our group.

@ HBMC : So you would say it is grossly under priced or grossly over powered?
