The VAT reduction is temporary anyway, not a permanent cut.

I think GW deserve a pat on the back for passing this small saving on. Far too many other businesses are holding on to it.

Does this mean I can get a refund? The new VAT has been in place for a week now. I was at GW HQ 4 days ago and I asked for my VAT reduced price, only to be told be the staff that they were not reducing their prices.

I asked the same question in Bugmans, and got the same answer. The £2.50 cheaper my purchases would have been is niether here or there, its the principle.

Thats strange. I was in my GW on friday, and they knew about it. So Monday I went in to pick some things up, and I got discount.

from what the manager my local GW told me they are still going to round things up to the nearest 5p so they don't start throwing pennies at you, i hate buying things for 9.99 anyway, just charge me a tenner and have done with it!

Personally I'd prefer they add up the savings accross the range and drop 1 in every 4 items by 10%.

Especially blisters of characters and monsters to make them worth buying.
