Any nids players that use tyrant guards with lash whips?

What is a good way to convert them?

I was considering just getting some Tyrant lash whips and using those but I'm not sure if that is the best idea.
Any suggestions/pics from people who have converted these?

Thanks.

I was considering using some spare weapon 'ammo' arms from the fex sprue, but they don't come in both left and right hand versions.

Greenstuff tentacles would be an easy option, I guess.

I like the whip from the plastic fantasy Orc Chariot. Hard to come by, but great for conversions.

A GW article on this subject used wire armatures covered in greenstuff. I'd use that method if I was doing it.
