Hey everybody,

Im here yet again with this week's project, an Ebay army, this is something I thought up with a friend a while back, thought it would be fun to make. This is a version of Steleks list tweaked just a bit.

Everything is custom, from the hand cast plaster bits on the bases, to the riders, to the sculpted faces on the bikes:

Farseers:

Warlocks:

Guardians:

Prisms:

Like I said, it's on ebay if you are interested, link in sig. Feel free to ask any questions you have them!

Thanks for looking!

The modelling and painting are both spectacular, but I must say the colour scheme looks very un-harlequin to me.

Interceptor Drones can disembark at any point during the Sun Shark's move (even though models cannot normally disembark from Zooming Flyers).

Think Dark Harlequin, that is what I was going for, hence the cold but at the same time vibrant colors and the snow.

Not everybody think cramming every primary color on a model looks good

Those are awesome. Though I have to say, the tank looks a lot like a chaos vehicle - faces growing out of the side of things tends to do that

This stuff is really cool!

The Fire Prism is kind of disturbing, yet very cool at the same time.

Very interesting color choice; is a nice change from the "see how many colors you can get on a Harlequin" scheme.

Thanks for the compliments guys, but I think you are viewing it from the wrong perspective. Maybe I should not have said Harlequins, because now in your mind you are holding it up to the GW canon of a Harlequin in terms of color and fluff and comparing my army. Do not think Harlequin in a concrete term, just some crazy Eldar guys, a darker Saim Hann.

I was less concerned with representing the existing fluff than making something very unique and interesting.

There are some REALLY nice models in that set. I liked them all, but the FIRST Warlock and the Fire Prism just jumped out at me. Very nice work on everything.
Painting... sculpting... Everything.

Kudos!

Excellent work. It's a unique look and the work that has gone into it is obvious.

The guys with the light swirls and checkerboard details definitely pop a lot better than the grunts. I'm sure that's intended, but you may want to do it to all of them (esp the prism) in order to draw the viewers attention across the model. I find myself straining at the model to distinguish the cool details from the sea of blue-green. Maybe they don't all need freehand details, but brighten up some of the panels on the vehicle and jetbikes to differentiate a bit.

I'm not big on eldar, but I like these, especially the shade of color you have.

The only eldar armies that appeal to me are the all-skimmer ones. If I was ever to do one, it'd be that.

Very good slant on the Eldar, the only thing I would do different would be to only do faces on the cockpits of the fire prism, the extra ones look a bit random and chaosesque.

Simply amazing paint job. Really top notch work there. Love the faces on the fire prism. The ones on the jet bikes are really nice too.

I'm not totally crazy about the half faces on the bikes, the 'division' lines don't look to me like they are as clean as the rest of the models, but my sculpting skills are nowhere near yours so don't take it as a critiscm

I like putting bright pink on models, I think it's funny, but I also have a wierd sense of humor about some things.

Besides, they are plastic models! You are taking them too seriously

I was wondering what exactly you mean by 100% custom. I can see you made the faces and you mentioned something plaster on the bases, but I'm still slightly confused.

Anyway, excellent paint job and modeling, clear photos, and you definitely win a pack of Morleys, regardless of unclear terminology. Keep it up!

0% of the army is stock. Every model is a conversion in one way or another.
