My step-father's friend just reveled to me that he collected dark angles 12 years ago, and he has about 20 metal terminators

iv asked him for them for Christmas

I sold my old one on eBay.

I liked the old predator too, with the dome turret. Preferred that to the metal turrets they did later on.

by current GW standards, they're rather under-detailed, but certainly worth having. If you're a good modeller, consider super-detailing them, they'd look great covered in rivets and with 'proper' lascannon and bolters

Versteckt in den Schatten deines Geistes.

The original Land Raider was the first 40K tank I got. Never did get the dome-turret Predator... wish I did though, they were much nicer than the later two metal-hybrid versions.

actually, I think my favorite land raider is the current chassis with the pre-heresy sponsons on it from FW. That's just sweet.

i like the fact that they are under detailed because:

reason 1) when i re-paint them i wont lose much detail
reason 2) they are good for free-hand (i am thinking about doing legion iconography on them)
reason 3) i collect chaos, my homegrown legion background info (WIP) states they turned in the Horus heresy. so i really should have the pre-heresy tanks

anyway i should get them before Christmas so i will post pics of them when they come

If he gives you the terminators instead, then convert them to a landraider by melting him down.
