Angry Blood Angel Assault marine

So yesterday, I found out a great source of many confusions for me was due to me using an outdated codex. My roommate has a number of books from older editions, and he handed me the Blood Angels codex and I started reading. Owning a copy of the 5th Ed. Space Marine codex myself, a lot of things seemed REALLY inconsistent and confusing. It wasn't until a kind soul on dakka here pointed out that the codex I was using was out of date, and GW actually printed out a new version in one of their magazines. He then gave me an official free download link.

So my question is, are there any other codexes that GW has put up online for free download? I'd like to take a look at some of the other Space Marine special chapters, but my roommate only had the one, and I'm not forking over $20 just to look at some alternative SM army lists.

There aren't any, as far as I'm aware. The BA codex was an experiment by GW and is a concept they've now dropped. You might still find some free army list downloads (Kroot Mercs, etc) floating around the (poorly-designed) website, but other than that there are no more full codices on there.

The only other chapters to have their on codices are Space Wolves and Dark Angels, and both are still in print.

I can see a duplicate post coming a few minutes after, but almost 12 hours later?

If you feel like learning Japanese, those codices and army books are available for free download. Sadly, no Black Templars or Dark Eldar, yet. >.<
