Hey guys, a debate just came up regarding which units must fire at the same target. If say you have a squad of kasrkins with rapid fire weapons but one of them has a multi melta, can you choose to ONLY fire the multi melta then charge a vehicle?

Careful.... the moose are watching....

Of course not.

A Multi-melta is a Heavy weapon, so if you stand still to fire the Heavy Weapon, you may not assault.

He's talking about a meltagun.

Yes, you can opt to only fire the meltagun and charge in with your grenades.

Umm.. if you had an assualt weapon and lots of rapid weapons, you can choose just to fire the assualt weapon - then go on to charge a unit.

Damn.. Foiled again.

The rule you're looking for is on p16, second paragraph under "Which Models Can Fire?"
