The I.G force I'm working on, Just about every unit causes pinning. With the added bonus of my H.Q being able to stay out of LoS. Along with sniping, all the troops can inflitrate, and get +1 to cover saves.

Daemon hunter Inquisitor is there for anti Deep-striking, and assassin is there for counter charging.

If it is for friendly fun games sounds great. If ya want competitive then not so much. I like the idea and it should be fun. Hope your friends are taking similar fun lists or you are gonna have some problems.

They are, hey were getting upset at my ork hoard winning, so I wanted to make something hard to win with, just to see if I could. It's more of an themed army for a campain, I know it might not win but anybody have tips on using things like sniper rifles, and mortars?

For me using pinning weapons is not much different than normal guns. I tend to hit one unit at a time. As you can make a unit take multiple pinning checks in a single phase I tend to hit a unit till it is pinned or chooses to go to ground then move to the next scary unit. I have had the same problem. I have a few dominate lists that I use from time to time and it is aways fun to play a list you shouldn't win with. You really have nerfed yourself so best I can suggest is that.
