Two GT events in Texas and they're both Fantasy. It'd be nauseating if it weren't so vexing.

The circuit events all seem to be Independent events, and not 'GW' events.

I think they'll have a separate calendar for those.

Yeah, I can't see them getting rid of the Baltimore, Vegas, and Chicago events. They are money makers and showcase events. Plus i've heard nothing but great things about all 3 in the last 2 years especially since they have been selling out. I think it's just a list of Independent Events that "count" toward the circuit and that they haven't decided yet when their events are going to be.

You mean like they dumped all of the GTs 4 years ago?

Chicago did not sell out...far from it, it might have lost quite a bit of money.

But it is all speculation until Chris comes here and says one way or another.

They didn't drop chicago and baltimore if i remember right back then. They linked them to the games days i thought though I could be wrong. I used to attend seattle and LA every year until that point and I attended the first Vegas gt because they cancelled the LA one and loved it.

But like you said we'll have to wait to find out from Chris. I hope they don't cancel Vegas since it's the best event all year (i love vegas )

Chicago was dropped from the list that appeared in the last issue of WD. In 2006 the only GW GT was held in Chicago.

Yeah and they have been for a couple years now. I think they had a GT in minnesota one year. It went well, I don't understand why they cut it. Minneapolis or St. Paul would be a good city to host a GT. It's easy to get in and out of, plus it has the Mall of America and other attractions for those players who bring a gf/wife along. I wish we wouldn't get the shaft, but I guess I'll just end up heading to Chicago.
