Well I kind of moved near Toronto, actually.

I think the best use of Ork Warbikes is as a shooting platform. 5 Bikes with a Nob carrying a Bosspole. Give him a Big Choppa and it comes to 145 points. Drive around and shoot the twin-linked Dakkaguns. On top of that, use them to provide a cover save/ protect against Deep Strikers on a flank.

At I2/ I3 they do not really have the numbers to fight against MEQ, although they are able to beat down on Guardsmen nicely.

If you want to go whole hog (haha) you can take two large squads with Power Klaws and attack simultaneously, although you probably want Nob Bikers in that case anyway.

A unit of 3 is 75 points.

A unit of 5 is 125 points.

With the bosspole the unit of 5 comes to 140 points, or 145 with a Big Choppa.

I do not really think they need a Power Klaw in there, better to spend the points someplace else.

A cheaper if shorter ranged alternative to Warbuggies and Deffkoptas.

Other alternatives:

7 Burna Boyz including 3 Big Shootas is 105 points but takes an Elites spot.

And Lootas and Shoota boyz, of course. 20 Shoota Boys with two Big Shootas is 130 points.

I think you are right, now that their guns are twin-linked they do throw out tons of fire power, However I disagree with not giving the nob a power fist. Big choppa in the hands of a Nob can take out most tanks, but against MEQs and monsterous creatures that mobiel, fast moving power claw can do some real damage to MEQ small units (combat squads).
