i had an idea for a sweet sisters of battle conversion
i was thinking of taking a standard bearer and writing on the flag "ITS THAT TIME OF THE MONTH"
should i do this it sounds funny to me but i think it might be possibly offensive

If you see a woman in the store at all, you should pull the "WOMAN IN STORE" alarm. Any good FLGS will have it's employees properly trained for such an emergency, and they can deal with the problem for you before your offensive message is discovered.

I once had a battle-standard for my chaos warriors for WFB that was the chorus of the Slipknot song "Surfacing" written in the Dark Tongue, which was included in the army list book for the purpose of banner-making. Two years I gamed at the same two stores, and only one other person got it. Like they said, do it in latin, really meticulous lettering. Nobody will even try to figure out what it says, unless they are totally OCD.

I don't see any problem in this 'themed' army. Seriously, other than Wife's or Girlfriends, how many woman do you see playing toy soliders in GW Stores? None ! Seriously though, there are some things GW will censor. I won a best painted army at an organised weekend event, held at GW HQ. My army was taken away and photographed to be featured on the web site. It was a IG Army. Anyone who knows me, knows I love to convert and have unique units. The IG army was Steel Legion models, but as Vets I had a unit of Tallarn and converted some Cold Ones into Tallarn Rough Riders. The background was that this was a PDF army, which had indoctored some local Nomads into it as Elite units. These were named the "Tal'hi Barn Terror Troops". The Banners the Troops and Rough Riders carried, were authentic copies of actual Afghan Taliben Fighters flags, complete with arabic writing on them. I mentioned that they should remove the banners before taking pictures, which they did.

A few months later, I asked what happend as nothing was on the site. I was told that the story had escalated around GW about these models and that GW Legal Dept. got involved and all my pictures were deleted and any printed copies were shredded. People got bollockings about it.
