Storm Trooper with Maglight

Why cleaning up i found a book. It is called "The elements of military administration and military law" by Lieutenant colonel john boughy. The book was published in 1884 and i'm assuming it belonged to my great grandfather. What i need is some advise what to do with, should i keep? sell it or what? Any help would be most appreciated.

Read it, then see what you think.
Personally, I see books as precious commodities worth holding on to. Perhaps contact Military Book Sellers, see if it's a rarity or not.

Just starting to read the book and at the start the author notes that this book was made as a note book for officers in training. I doubt that alot of the stuff in the book will be relevant today.

As long as you aren't training to be an officer that won't be a problem.
A book of that era is useful for players of colonial wargames because it will cover the manoeuvres and tactics of the time.

as well as discipline. on a personal level, as i truly doubt you need to keep people in line the way some officers do.

Funny thing i am thinking of training to be an officer. It'll be 5-6 years before i've finished my gcse's and moved onto A levels but it always as been an ambition for me.

What a nice antique you found. just like others said, read it first. if you interested, keep it. otherwise, sell it for money if your parents agree with it (is your parents concern about it?).
