What do you guys think? I'm not sure if there is enough firepower. The rhinos will help shield the DC and IC if there isn't much terrain to work with, Land Speeders go tank hunting, and Predators will kill anything. I was considering dropping the predators for another tactical squad with a heavy weapon, but I'm not sure if that is such a good idea. Should I swap anything?

seems to be totally missing the point of a BA army (other than trying to win with a severely handicapped list); The ability to take assault marines as troops.

by yanking off the Jpacks and scooting around in rhinos you turn them into a bunch of lame tactical marines who hit slightly harder in CC. Being rhino mounted adds in the additional handicap of not being able to assault as easily either.

You dont need 5 rhino hulls to shield one 10-man squad of DC. In fact, you really only need 1 vehicle to do this, as long as you arent trying to completely obscure them. One vehicle in front of a squad will at the least give you a 4+ cover for half the squad being obstructed. Even better, if you put a Jp assault squad behind a vehicle, you can put the DC, and potentially another squad behind the first assault squad, and share the 4+ love.

A LR variant, or failing that, a Baal Pred with smoke works decently well for this. Doesnt need to hold up forever. just for 1-2 turns until you descend on your opponent like a raging tide of... well, like a raging tide...

Assault marines should fly, not drive.

I say drop Dante and the Baals, and get some more assault marines, then drop the Melta bombs on the assault marines and get another speeder.

Moar bodies, more choppy. and that is what Blood Angels do

I have to disagree and saybi like this list a lot. In general a squad of assault Marines in a rhino is more powerful than a squad with jump packs. BA rhinos have OCE - you can jump on objectives early in a game and then counter charge. I run two squads of tactical Marines and one squad of assault Marines in my 1850 list... all three in rhinos. You have Dante, Lemartes and the DC for the fast aggressive unit. I would eventually like to switch over to two assault squads and one tactical squad.

The main problem with an all jump army is that shooty armies will pulverize it. 4+ cover is okay but if all your jump troops get whittled down they won't pack the necessary punch when what is left of them hit close combat.
