The only thing that catches my interest is the " brain boy" cool little fella... The rest goes from badly sculpted to dead boring.

These weapon sprues make a good supplement to Hasslefree Miniatures's, who also do a nice pulse rifle.

Some the Futuristic Weapons, noticably the Rifles, look distinctly unfinished??

Yeah, I picked up a pack of the futuristic weapons already and I'm disappointed to be honest. A couple of them you can't identify as weapons or how to hold them or they look like unfinished 50's style rayguns.

I'll stick with The Assault Group, Hasslefree and Heresy for my weapon needs.

Depends if by Throne you mean the English slang for the Toilet (see also Bog, Thunderbox, Porcelain Study) and if your an Ogre with a penchant for improperly reheated Halfling Vindaloo (see Wail of the Bumshee)

I notice that for the modern and 1900s weapons sprues they have pistols with moulded-in hands on them, which is nice for weaponswaps, because a hand is easier to pin to a sleeve than a gun to a hand. The futuristic guns are a disappointment, as three out of four rifles on the sprue look too cludgy and undetailed. The 50s retro look might work with some miniatures, I suppose, but I don't like it much.

As for the rest, the hooded wizard is generic but perfectly usable (the kind of mini a DM would find useful while hosting D&D). The Pumpkin Golem and crazy-haired shotgun dude are pretty good, wouldn't mind buying them.

The rest: Meh.

hahaha, holy gak this is a funny thread, the throne as a hat comment was sheer comedy. Ah man, maybe he was a Dark Eldar or Chaos Dwarf lord before his skelefication.

I really love throne guys. To me they're a lot more sinister and powerful-looking than shouting, pointing, weapon waving commanders. they don't need to get out of their chair to threaten you. in fact you're a lot better off if they don't get out of the chair.

So yeah skull throne guy is a definite buy.

His fingers are poised over the keyboard of a grand piano encrusted in jewels, sequins and skulls.

The whole montage is carried portee style on a jewel, sequin and skull encrusted Land Raider.

The world needs as many Liberace Space Mariens as it can get.

So, I'm guessing you didn't like the she-male Succubus? (Or is that just a serious case of camel-toe down there?) I like the weapon, but a baseball bat is just not really menacing unless it's got a few dozen construction nails driven through it.
