They sell it at my FLGS. Otherwise it should be at hobby and craft stores.

Gale Force Nine sells a reasonably priced pack of different thickness sheets. Its generally referred to in the states as Sheet Styrene, search for it and you'll find a lot of different things or just look at the GF9 website and pick up the accessory pack.

for cardstock i use those boxes you bet packs of beet in. Plasticard I tend to order online - ebay is a good source.

My local model store (Modelzone) sells plasticard, foam core and balsa in the model railway dept.

I've had great success at TOWER HOBBIES, specifically in their 'plasticard' section:

What is especially nice is the fact you can see what all the various card types and textures look like...

I've had great success in stealing emergency signs from places that don't need them.

Your local hobby store should have plenty of options for buying plastic cards. Hobby City near me had all sorts of thicknesses available, ranging from .3 mm up to 2mm thick I believe. I've found .8mm is easy to work with.

My biggest decision was to buy gray ABS plastic or white Styrene sheets. Styrene seems cheaper. I'm guessing one is better for some situations than others.

also hotel room cards, maxed out credit cards, and "For Sale" signs in the neighborhood make for good sources of plastic card..

I can just find it at my FLGS.

Have you tried Hobby Lobby? Michael's? One of them should have it.

Make sure you ask for "Sheet Styrene", though. Say plasticard, and they won't know what the hell you're talking about (that's a word that came directly from Britain).

Hobby shops are good for smaller pieces, particularly pieces with stuff like brick, etc on them already. If you want a large piece I've heard that it's possible to get a 4'x8' section at home improvement places.

You can order some from gale force 9 or just go to your local model train shop. Or even a hobby town store near you.

you can either goto websites or game stores. or for thin plasticard you can buy a for sale sign and for card stock a cereal box works rather well to.

Model train stores always carry it. The best kind has a grid etched into it so you can snap it into the size you want.

Man, that's the joy of Anime! To revel in the complete and utter wastefullness of making an unstoppable nuclear-powered combat andriod in the shape of a cute little girl, who has the ability to fall in love and wears an enormous bow in her hair.
