well since i've joined this massive site (and even ingoring it for so long that it logged me out) i've ignored it and moved to Warseer. BUT NOW........i give you MY try at -I-munda.............................and stuffs.place excuse my poor photography skills, i'll work on that.
first up: The Masked Maiden (greenstuffed masked face, small pauldron thingy and staff head)

made from a witchhunter or daemon-hunter henchman
Second up: Gerk & Eel (i'll get up a better picture)

the two snotlings you get from the goblin fanatics, ghoul heads and skeleton warrior regiment coffin shield.

and to throw off the -I-munda-ness (why i'll never know) i give you an ork nob that i tried sculpting a beret on, worked out kinda well in my opinion......


....but thats just me. what do you fine folks of Dakka think?

Hmm. Looks interesting, but it´s hard to see from these pics..
Are you using the macro function of your camera? it shoul be a flower symbol, it´s made for close up shots of detail work, and is perfect for miniatures.

I like the two weird little mutant guys, they look very sinister. And the masked maiden seems to look very nice as well, though as mentioned, it´s hard to make out the details.

and concerning Gerk and Eel. they are indeed comical for a reason ( who the hell am i kidding; i have no reason, they just look cool!). and were probably easier compared to the maiden, for the sole (soul?) reason of just having to cut off their original faces and slapping on a ghoul head then sculpting a GS hump.

Did you bother reading the post? Or just sort through the pictures? He mentioned in the post that it was just a random photo to get some feedback on his beret sculpt.

ANYWAY, i am working on a third member at the mo', a somewhat horizontally challenged rogue mechanicus servitor (made from a spare fanatics i had).
well that's all from me......................for now............... i'm gonna go sleep. background fluff and pictures, hopefully tomorrow.

The little fellas with big heads are genuinely funky in a distorted gothic way. I have one of those in my gang too, so I am biased, but good work!

nothing had yet to disturb the debris and litter of the underhive, an eery smell of blood filled the air from an unknown source. Amongst all this, two small silhoettes could be made out in the calm wasteland of what was once considered a 'thriving' shanty town. the two shadow's danced in the sun's warm glow, only to halt on the approach of what seemed like...........a masked woman. this stranger did not make even the slightest sound when moving through the rubble. The woman halted just 5 metres away from where the two silhottes had just beforehand, been frolicking in the destruction that surrounded them. when suddenly. from out of the shadows darted two small figures, stopping just in front of the woman. the stranger looked down at them with a cold emotionless mask that seemed to conceal her whole face. Her gaze was greeted with them bowing before her............"eesh the mashter alrights?", asked one in a high raspy voice. the woman meerly turned around to face the direction she had come from, beaconing the two to follow...........................................

this kinda gives a build up to 'The Master', a shady character, who; not even I know what he looks like!
and nothing got done today. sorry.
and i see Gerk and Eel are so far, the fav's of this thread o'mine, yay me

Well im back! holiday was pretty good, cept those fg lines at the themeparks (dream and movie world), and in regards to people:

HaLLuCiNaTiOn- ok you've twisted my arm. each stage just uses stippling (cept the goo and othe non-armour related stuff) it goes as such: white or grey under coat (you could use black), wash the reccesses and such with wash standard watered down chaos black, then stipple in order; codex grey, fortress grey, space wolves grey, then with the white you only do it sparingly over raised area's. and thats how you do the armour! the goo is just vermin brown and chaos black mixed till its not so brown and not so black, then once dry wash over it with dark-angels green (to get it shiny) .
ALIi B- you say that now, but when i first started painting him over BLACK undercoat, he looked crap. then i HAD to reprime him white and thats how you see him today! heres what he looked like before:

Two things.

Firstly, stop griping. It's annoying, and it's probably most of the reason you're getting ignored.

Secondly, this stuff doesn't look bad. The Khorne dude looks pretty good, actually. A lot of your stuff is really WIP though, which is why it doesn't get many comments.

Well I like the Space marine w/underslung bolter and the Ork Beret was pretty well done - though it looks more like a cap.

The conversions are nice, but most people
(me included) like to see them painted before commenting.

an eldar who i was testing the saim-hann scheme on, sorry i can't get you any real upclose pictures.

and theres over 40 more eldar mini's left for me to paint for a friend whose gonna sell em' on ebay (and my cut being 40%)
