www.armorcast.com is the company producing them - lots of great stuff there.

yeah. I made a thread a while back about this. still haven't got my own made yet, sadly.

I know what you mean about some of them. I mean, I am not sure why you would want to use the armorcast flame thrower effects. They are pretty big.

No problem on the link - I've seen some pretty cool stuff come form Armorcast recently.

Now if I just had more spare time and disposable income....

Those cinematic effects are a nice accessory.

Are they cast in metal?

I'm writing a load of fiction. My latest story starts here... This is the index of all the stories...

We're not very big on official rules. Rules lead to people looking for loopholes. What's here is about it.

Yes they are, I think the only way to make the flames practical is to make molds of the pewter ones then re-cast them in silicone, that way they would be huge, light weight, flexible, and they wouldn't be tottaly opaque. So you could see through them a little. Otherwise thole only practical use for them really is for flamers on vehichles like the immolatir or a dreadnought.

for smoke you could try cotton wool teased out and rolled in some black chalk/pastel or charcoal dust - glue in place with white glue.

Check out my gallery here
Also I've started taking photos to use as reference for weathering which can be found here. Please send me your photos so they can be found all in one place!!

You can also use 0000 steel wool as black smoke, in a thickcoat of white glue it will be almost as stron as the plastic.
