Any suggestions on what would be a good paint scheme for him? I can't pick between traditional comissar / Goff / Blood Axe

I would go with traditional commissar scheme. But I would shave off the extra detail on the edge of the cloak to help disguise its origin.

Interesting idea, but a lot of the armor looks puffy, particularly the edges of the coat where you made lines. You should try to cut it down to be more even. Also the hat could use some detail.
