I had touched up my Lions Ven Dread a bit (Added a bit more battle damage). Took some pics this weekend when we were snapping others, thought I would go ahead and upload;

Beauty of a paint job, although I'm wondering if the plasma cannon arm needs a wash of Devlan Mud - it looks a little clean compared to the body.

Awesome!
Quick question - why does everyone seem to favor the Plasma Cannon on their Forgeworld dreads?
Has 5th edition made it any better?
I know assault cannons took a bit of a hit, but, are they really not worth taking anymore?
Or, is it just because it does admittedly look rather cool?

Thanks for all the comments, I should have mentioned earlier you can click the pic to vote (As I've updated that from earlier).
It's magnetized, so I can switch out arms if I want Alpharius. Although, I usually use the Plasma Cannon because I think the Assault Cannon is rather dull in comparison. Plasma Cannon is a bit of a waste of the Ven Dreads BS to be frank.

No Get's Hot, Str 7 AP2, Blast1, on a BS5 Walker=troop killy

And...at least IMO, the plasma cannon on the FW dread looks suitably bad-ass!
