I saw somewhere a formula for converting Epic 40k to Apocalypse. Now I can't find it.

I was looking for the method to convert the Epic statlines into 40k. I would then proceed to scratch-build the models that I converted and create datasheets and whatnot.

I think he's looking to convert Epic rules for models/vehicles/units that aren't currently available in Apoc/40K rules into 40K/Apoc Rules so he can then build and use said units.

Exactly. I've still not had any luck finding anything. I know that on BoLS people were talking about some formula, but I can't find it.

I don't know about formulae beyond points values being about 2.5 times higher for 40k than for epic (a LR is 100pts in epic and 250 in 40k).

So you could start by multiplying the points by 2.5 to get an idea of the points range. Then I'd look at the weapon fits and see if any of those appear on vehicles that have both epic and 40k stats so you can fill in those blanks.

Armour values will depend a lot on the chassis (we know GW loves standardised chassis) but should be easily inferred from existing 40k models using the same base.

The only real problem would be special rules.
